To substantiate the attention and focus of our company
to the noise environmental impact of our products,
during 2002, a Semi-Anechoic chamber was created,
in collaboration with the University of Florence, within
our production facility in Casole d’Elsa. This will allow
us to verify and certify that all PRAMAC Group products
follow all directives in force in terms of noise.
PRODUCTION
PRODUZIONE
The same attention is given to all phases of production,
with tight and strict quality controls maintained at all
times. All generators are tested one by one at the end
of the assembly line before being carefully packed and
stored ready for delivery.

WHAT IS A GENERATOR SET?
Used as an alternative power source for emergencies, industrial or domestic use where mains network
power is not available.
Emergency
As a solution to interruptions in mains power supply and black-outs where a temporary lack of power can
be dangerous or inconvenient.
Industrial and Domestic
Generators are ideal for all professional, domestic and hobby applications where mains electricity is not
available.
Particular attention is given to the safety for the users of PRAMAC generators. IP44 protection fitted to
the sockets. IP23 protection fitted to the alternators; thermal, electromagnetic or differential (according
to model) electric protection to safeguard loads from overload or short circuit. The careful selection of
high quality components (engines, alternators, electric and electronic components) assures the maximum
performance in all situations. PRAMAC generators are available (according to model) with recoil or electric
start, and some models are available with an automatic mains failure device in case of temporary cut in
mains power supply.

WHAT IS A MOTOR PUMP?
A motor pump can be used in all situations where it is necessary to move a great quantity of water in
effective and efficient way. Pumps are chosen by the application and location:
CLEAR WATER: For regular uses with clear water. Ideal for fish breeding, swimming pools and
similar.
TRASH: For intensive or emergency uses with clear or dirty water (with solid components such as sand,
mud, gravel, rubble etc.).
It is then necessary to determine the requested flow according to the use, and then the head. This is the
total height between the level of water to move up (distance between water and pump called aspiration
high cannot be more than eight metres) and the highest point where the same water will be downloaded
(distance between pump and the highest level is called height of flow).
We also need to consider possible leaks of load due to pipes, elbows, valves etc. that are reducing the
total head. To be able to chose the most suitable water pump for the application, it is useful to refer to the
diagram showing the curve of flow/pressure or total head. Flow is described as the intended quantity of
water moved, measured in m³/hour or litres/minutes, and total head described the height of a theoretical
vertical column of water the pump itself would be able to produce.

A high pressure washer has the power to turn any water source into a high pressure water jet that can be
used for many applications. It can be used to clean and de-scale any type of dirt, car-washing, workshops,
agriculturally, food factories, site use; these are just examples of how useful these machines can be.

designed for light duty
The HG class is designed to be lightweight, easy to use and low cost. Typical uses are: powering of
small tools for general repairs around the home and light duty stand-by-power during power outages. All
alternators are high quality, brushless type. HG class generators feature alternator mounted receptacles
and engine mounted fuel tanks, available with “T” bar or full roll cage configurations and in 2800 max
watt ratings.

The S class has all of the features needed and expected to meet the requirements of the most demanding
applications and alternators are heavy duty, brushless designs with Total Harmonic Distortion less than
6%. Each S class generator is equipped with electric start on the 7500, 10000 and 12000 watt models,
frame mounted control panels including hour meter and volt meter, long run 8 gallon fuel tanks, and
super heavy duty, yet compact, frames. Options include Mobility Kits (wheel kit and lifting eye), Covers,
Power Cords and Manual Transfer Switches. Available in 5000, 7500, 10000, and 12000 models.
