for many unique species of grassland birds. Visitors may
drive the seven-mile auto tour route May to September,
climb the observation tower, enjoy mixed-grass
prairie scenery and wildlife, or visit the 5,760 acres of
wilderness. The sharp-tailed grouse blind is available in
the spring by calling for a free reservation.
