Your Official Guide to the
2014 Gay Games
Dear Donors, Sponsors,
Partners, and Friends,
You’ve been asking about how to
become more involved in the

the Cleveland Foundation, and
we’ve been listening.
In addition to competing in the
Games, more opportunities to get
involved are now surfacing on our
website and social media forums:
namely, entertainment and
spectator opportunities.
This programming is as likely to
engage cinephiles, thespians,
concert-goers, and hobbyists as it
is athletes and sports fans, and the

week of the Gay Games now
boasts 105-plus entertainment
events. Ranging from Boy
George’s concert appearance at
August 11’s White Party, to a
gallery showing at the Cleveland
Museum of Art on the 8th, to
conferences at Northeast Ohio
universities, the list is evergrowing.
party from 2pm to midnight on
August 10. Festival Village will be
located at Mall C in downtown
Cleveland, and all events are free
of admission charges (donations

To get you started, we’ve
compiled a guide below so you
can easily sample what the Gay
Games has to offer and how to
stay apprised of new
developments.
Other ways to get involved
