Method:
1. Cut the chicken breast in half horizontally, to
make 4 thin pieces. Place each piece between
heavy plastic, and pound to 1/8 thick with a mallet
of skillet. Season the chicken with 1 teaspoon
kosher salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, and 1/2
teaspoon paprika.
2. In a shallow baking dish, whisk together egg,
milk, and 2 tablespoons water. In another baking
dish, whisk together both types of flour, dry milk,
powdered sugar, baking soda, dry mustard, and
remaining 1/2 teaspoon paprika, and 1 teaspoon
each salt and pepper. Meanwhile, heat about two
inches of peanut oil to 325 degrees in a heavybottomed pot or cast iron skillet. While oil heats,
slice pickle, and set aside.
3. Working in batches, dip chicken in the egg
mixture, turning to coat, then dredge in flour
mixture and shake off any excess. Fry the chicken
in hot oil, using a candy thermometer to monitor oil
temperature, until golden brown, about 4 minutes.
Drain on paper towels.
lightly toast in the skillet, buttered-side down. To
assemble sandwiches, spread grilled buns with
more butter, dip 2 pickle slices in jarred pickle juice
to moisten and place on the bottom bun. Top with
a piece of fried chicken and the bun top.
Hints:
1. I think 1/8 inch is to thin, I did mine between
¼ and 3/8. If you do use the ¼ inch pieces you
need to really watch the fry time or you will certainly
overcook and dry out the meat.
2. If you like a little more breading, after the first
dipping in egg mixture and dredging with flour
mixture, just let the chicken set about 5 minutes
and do the process again.
Give this a try, I know it has a lot of ingredients, but
worth it. So till next time work smart, play hard and
take time our for a cookie.

Pete Finland:
MuscleBear +
Leather Daddy = WOOF!
By DJ Mark D
When you imagine hot, sexy Muscle Bears,
Leathermen or DILF’s (Daddies I’d Like To Fuck),
chances are the image you think of is of the man in
this article – pictures of one hot Finn: Pete Finland.
He’s the most recognized Gay male model on the
scene today and has defined the quintessential
idea of sexy masculinity – the art of being a man’s
man.
If Pete looks familiar, he should! For hardcore
porn connoisseurs, that’s the face of Eric York,
who was seen in over 100 different adult titles, like
“COPilation”, “Prowl”, “Courting Libido”, “Dad’s
Doing it 2” and “Truckstop Daddy 2.” Back then he
was a pretty boy - less muscular and with less tats,
but no less sexy. His current, more mature look
fits Pete perfectly! “It would be ridiculous for me to
try to stick with that pretty boy image at my age. I
created my new image. This is me, not what the
studios want me to be. Finnish guys are very tough
and very straightforward. And so am I” he laughs.
This 46 year old’s transition from twinky-pretty to
musclebear was not something that happened
overnight, “I first got into bodybuilding in 1994,
now I’m a grown musclebear and I think I carry my
weight so much better now.” As you can see from
his pictures – I’m sure you’ll agree. Looking good
is something we all work on, some methods more
complicated than others - a constant maintenance
item; when asked his secret, Pete responded:
October 12, 2012
“Keep it simple, white meat only, no sodas, only
juices and tons of water. Nothing fried and no
snacks – that’s it!”
Sometimes referred to as a Porn God, Pete
blushes…. “It was a long and interesting road
from Helsinki to Hollywood,” he smiles. “I came
to LA with no papers to work and was asked to do
a movie. I really didn’t think it was my thing, but
a second look at my bank account changed my
mind. I never thought of myself as being a porn
star or ‘Porn God’ as you said. It’s so strange
when people start treating you like one. I can
barely believe the stuff I saw and experienced while
in that world.” I know what you’re thinking, what
was the one film Pete/Eric was in that would be a
must-have after reading this? “I don’t own or have
seen any of my films, but the making of ‘Prowl’ was
very hot….so that would be the one!” He recalls
his first film shoot candidly; “I was just a kid from
Finland, far from the Hollywood porn scene. My
first time was not hot, it was cold, in a warehouse
in San Francisco at 7am. I was very nervous and
there was no Viagra, all you have on set is your
filthy imagination. I got used to it fast….and then it
became HOT (wink)!” One of his most interesting
experiences was actually doing a soft-core for
the Playboy channel, “It was such a professional
production. Really fascinating to see and
experience.”

Pete has turned his interests away from the porn
world and has really dived into his work with
charity work and the preservation and benefit of
Gay culture. If you notice, Pete Finland’s name
is strikingly similar to the Finnish artist Tom of
Finland, a charitable organization that Pete works
directly with and greatly admires. In fact, he’s
been called the most famous Gay man to come
out of Finland after Tom! “Finland is a small
country, only 5 million people. Not a lot of stuff
comes out of Finland and not to the US. Tom’s
men are just so….perfect. My friends for years
have called me Pete of Finland, so that’s where
the name came from” he recounts. “I’ve got a
very typical Finnish last name which no one here
in the US can pronounce, only made sense to
change it.” Pete’s been working with the Tom
of Finland Foundation for over 10 years now and
has simply loved it. “I know this might sound
funny, but back then, all the Gay guys I saw were
feminine and soft. Nothing wrong with that, but I
couldn’t relate to it. Then I saw Tom of Finland’s
drawings, and I fell in love” he says. “I was so
proud of being Gay for the first time, and the fact
that they were from Finland was just so perfect.”
The president of the foundation saw Pete’s pics
on the Internet and contacted him to let him know
that his masculine image is one that Tom of Finland
would have loved to draw. The rest is history! Just
released is a book on Tom of Finland entitled Life
and Work of a Gay Hero, Pete was so excited to
learn he received his own page! “Tom’s work is
an important part of Gay culture. We need to let
future generations know that” he says. Currently,
Pete helps with the foundation in any way possible.
“I’ve been hosting their charity parties, modeling
their clothing, translating Tom’s work and doing all
kinds of interesting stuff with them. Whatever the
future holds, I’m here for them always.”
Whether in porn or not, Pete is always in the
spotlight. His appearance in a controversial
Jawbone Bluetooth commercial, which was
banned in the US, brought instant notoriety! “In
Scandinavia, people are very sexually openminded. I have never had any issues with sex or
being Gay – I guess I’m very lucky.” Apparently,
two men kissing in the video was too much for
America to handle! “It’s just so sad that two men
kissing is an issue to show on TV in the US, while
two men ripping each other’s eyeballs out is ok”
he grunts! Don’t worry, it’s on youtube, so be
sure to check it out (Google : Jawbone Gay Kiss).
He’s also got an appearance in “Bear City 2”,

HOT!!!! “Bear City 2 was a lot of fun to make” Pete
explains, “I’m playing a captain of a whale watch
boat and my scene partner is the sexy Dru Bruin.
Three days on the ocean near Provincetown…. It’s
just hairy and hot!” Pete’s pictures run from a tightpanted businessman to leatherdaddy – which he
carries well. “What I like the most about wearing
leather is the attitude that comes along with it. It
just makes you feel soooo…SEXY!”
Pete received the “Living Legend Gay/All Male”
Raven’s Eden Award this year (2012) for his work
as Eric York – and - he’s the sexy cover model in
HomoRodeo.com’s 2013 calendar. A little inside
info: for old times’ sake, he’s just completed a film
for the Butch Dixon Studios in London called “Big

Finnish,” so be on the lookout for it…. And yes,
the name says it all! He’s currently making his way
around the country touring Bear clubs and bars.
He’ll be making his debut Texas visit to Houston
on Saturday October 27th at Eagle Houston
(eaglehouston.com) for Halloween weekend, so
bring the HomeoRodeo calendars or any movies
you want signed! You can also register to win the
leather harness he’ll be sporting that night (after
he’s sweated in it – yum)! To find out more or to

The Incredible
Power of the
Old Fashioned Video!
By Jennifer Webb
I
magine you are asked to create a perfect
segment of your life. Maybe it’s how
your work day will go or more specifically
how interaction with your colleagues will
go, or how fast you’ll run your 10K. Perhaps
it’s interaction with your kids or a combination
of things.
routine, it will help you be more effective in
what you’re accomplishing. Positive energy
and emotion (aka fun) is a powerful motivator
to stimulate action. Ask anyone who has
created something they didn’t think possible,
and they’ll tell you how they felt energized
and how this was a catalyst to action.
Once you have created that video imagine
playing it when you get up and when you go
to sleep, and imagine you’re really seeing,
smelling, feeling and hearing everything about
this video, in other words you’re living it!
Finally, in looking at the details of your video,
there’s a great tool to help you create the
right “feel” and that’s appreciation. In my last
book, Zap! Pow! Kazam! 11 Super Powers
to Change Your Career & Life! one of the
Powers is Serendipity, the ability to create
luck and attract opportunities. And it all starts
with being appreciative.
Sound a bit crazy? Einstein said imagination
was more important than knowledge. What
you are imaging right now you are creating, so
why not get specific, it will pay off in ways you
can’t even begin to realize. Think about it, why
is it two people with the same IQ and ambition
start off in the same place, and one ends up
highly successful, the other frustrated? Luck?
How many of you reading this agree there
really isn’t such a thing as luck, we create the
luck we have.
Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps watched
his mental video before races, and it helped
him win Olympic Gold. Not only was his
video useful, but he also used it to plan for
unexpected situations, and factored them
into his video. So, when his goggles filled
with water during one of the races he stayed
relaxed, he had planned for it in his video.
And, swimming blind, he set a world record.
Now let’s have some fun. Imagine every
day you will also add five minutes of fun to
your life. Whether you choose to add it to
the video, or just add it as part of your daily
Pg. 40
This week I have a birthday, and while I don’t
want to admit I’m chronologically the age my
driver’s license says, I plan to find something
to be grateful for, for every year. Appreciation
can carry over to every part of our lives.
Someone in one of my classes last week told
me he asked his two young daughters to find
something to be grateful for each night, and
over time they pay more and more attention
and find more things to be grateful about.
Your video is powerful! And it can be the first
of many in your library. Videos are simple
preparations for what will be happening, the
dress rehearsal you’re creating first mentally,
and then creating in a physical world. So
have fun, be creative, and stay focused on
the outcome. Pretty simple, isn’t it?

cds I put in as I was cooking. Every time
a song came on, I checked to see who I
was checking out and so by the next day,
I had to give it a spin one time alone. I
love Diana Krall’s sexy, smoky sound as
much as her diehard fans, so this cd is a
total turnaround.
Music
Glad Rag Doll is an interesting and
adventurous trip of new sounds and
an extraordinary great jazz album. It’s
filled with humor and gives you a sense
of tenderness and intimacy of what the
late 20’s and 30’s would have sounded
like. So on this cd, she is working with
super major hit producer T-Bone Burnett
(Bonnie Raitt) and he helps add a guitarheavier bluesy collection which mixed
with her piano playing makes a great
sound. There are some really good songs
you can hear this pairing on like “There
Ain’t No Sweet Man That’s Worth The
Salt Of My Tears” which makes this song
a gritty blues number, and then there is
“I’m A Little Mixed Up” which has a touch
of rockabilly.

ell it’s coming up on that time of year
when all the music companies(the ones
that are left) get into high gear and start
putting out all the goodies that will make you want
to get out and buy. So you will start hearing all the
big names to add to your xmas list. So far, we have
seen Pink , No Doubt, Faith Evans, and Michael
Jackson with new major releases and there will be
many more coming up from some other big names
like Brandy and Barbra Streisand. So, adding her
name to the list of new goodies by big names is
Diana Krall, with her new cd Glad Rag Doll.
Glad Rag Doll is Diana Krall’s first album in 3
years, her last being 2009’s Quiet Nights, and
this is very different from anything she has done
in the past. On my first and second listen, I didn’t
know what to think of the songs on this cd. All I
could say is maybe Ms Krall has been watching
too much Boardwalk Empire. The songs have the
sound of songs of the late 20’s and 30’s rag time.
But then I found myself kind of liking the songs
when shuffled in and out with a few other jazz
Pg. 46
TWIT
The opening cut “We Just Couldn’t Say
Goodbye” is a delicate jazz piece that
showcases her piano playing and her
vocals. Other standouts include the
delicate, “Just Like a Butterfly That’s
Caught in the Rain”, and the piano-heavy
title cut, “Glad Rag Doll”. I really liked the
acoustic ballad, “Prairie Lullaby”. It has
this haunting, very relaxing tone to it that
you can get lost in. Then there are other
tracks that will catch your ear and are
worth a second spin such as “Here Lies
Love”, “Let It Rain”, and “Lonely Avenue”,
that has a fantastic piano solo. There is
one amazing stand out on this cd and
that is the dramatic, “When The Curtain
Comes Down”, with booming spoken
segments.
Glad Rag Doll is worth a listen. If you are
a hardcore Krall fan this might not be your
cup of tea, but if you like drama and like
your music to play a movie in your head,
then I say this cd is for you. This is going
to be my new late night, rainy 3 am cd.
Bravo to Ms. Diana Krall for something
different and daring.

Virgo August 23 September 22
You enjoy speculating and analyzing financial
options in order to improve profits and
productivity, and are very efficient, but never
at another’s expense. However, you tend
to focus more on bottom lines and overlook
details. Moneywise, you’re good at discovering
bargains and tending to personal budgets.
Though supple of spirit and understanding, you
enjoy controlling others and do well in positions
of authority.
Libra September 23 October 22
You have an inquisitive mind and terrific ability
to grasp ideas that aren’t obvious to many
coworkers. You understand (but don’t always
remember) details, enjoy the vistas of long term
planning, and are always willing to explore new
ways to improve finances. For you, “honesty
is the only policy, and time is money” so you
act open mindedly and with loyalty, objectively
negotiating so that everyone gets a fair deal.
You never sacrifice integrity for economics.
Scorpio October 23 November 21
Authority figures respect you as a competent
employee who is never afraid to roll up your
sleeves and pitch in when the going gets tough.
Social work, welfare programs, rehabilitation
therapy, and helping others suit you well,
provided that the stimulation is more mental
rather than routing or physical. But try not to
be such a fussbudget always worrying about
personal savings, treat yourself to something
nice after a hard day’s work!
Sagittarius November 22 December 21
You always do what’s expected from you on
the job and don’t take credit unless it’s due.
However, you tend to focus more on bottom
lines, often overlooking important details. You’re

honest about learning from your mistakes and
not afraid of criticism, are a good comparison
shopper, and pretty realistic about personal
budgets. Learn when to ask for help when
necessary and provide the same to others.
Capricorn December 22 January 19
Your financial gains come through your own
merit, attention to detail, and hard work. Once
you commit to a project, you never lose sight
of it. You thrive on having everything in order,
always analyzing and weighing the pros and
cons. People born on this day are noted for
being discriminating and using common sense.
Fly by night financial schemes don’t fly. For you,
time is money. “Pay up, or shut up!”
Aquarius January 20 February 18
You make up your mind very carefully and
rarely jump to conclusions. You spend as much
time as possible researching every choice and
weighing all points of view. This can be very
useful, but sometimes you take so long that
others get impatient. Your sign reveals natural
investigative skills. Have you ever considered a
career in writing, detective work, psychology, or
science? After all, you enjoy uncovering secrets
and know how to keep them!
Pisces February 19 March 20
Be wary of fellow employees taking advantage
of you; just do one thing at a time and do
only what is assigned. Don’t be a patsy for
coworkers incompetence! Generous with your
time and efforts, you can always be depended
upon to volunteer your services. You simply like
to do things for others, but in the process, may
wind up on the short end of the financial stick.
Set a price for your services and make friends
with the time clock.
