Nurses Appointments
Messaging Service
We
now
offer
Child
immunisation clinics. These
are held on a Wednesday
afternoon between 2pm-5pm.
We are currently running a
trail on a text messaging
service for our patients for
appointment reminders and
invites to campaigns such as
NHS health checks and flu
vaccinations. Don’t forget to
make sure you have given an up
to date mobile number to
reception if you wish to use
this service.
Spring 2017
Welcome
to
the
spring
issue
of
our
patient
newsletter.
We hope that you will find it
both
interesting
and
informative.
If you have any suggestions
or queries regarding our
services we would like to hear
from you. There is a grey
box on the wall in the
Waiting Area for suggestions
and comments.
We would like to know how we
can improve our service to
you and how you perceive our
surgery and staff. We have a
virtual patient representation
group. Please go to our
website for details.
Wi-Fi Service
We have recently installed a
free Wi-Fi service in the
surgery. If you wish to use
this service please activate
your Wi-Fi settings and click
on NHS Wi-Fi and follow the
introductions.
Please visit our website to
view our practice information
or complete our Friends and
Family Test- we will be happy
to receive your feedback on
the service we provide.
Are you travelling??
Don’t
forget to fill in your travel
questionnaire which you can
collect from reception. Once
you have filled in the
questionnaire you will be
offered an appointment with
a Nurse. Please try and book
your appointments for travel
at least 8 weeks before you
go.
Have you got a moment…
Would you recommend the
surgery to a friend or a
family member fill in the
short form at reception and
place it in the blue box on
the desk thanks.
Looking for advice or help
and not sure who to ask or
where to look… We have a
care navigator here at the
surgery that can signpost to
the relevant help and support
you need. You can book an
appointment
with
Helen
Kilminster who will be able to
help.
Treatment room survey
Currently the Nurses and
Phlebotomists
are
asking
patients to fill in surveys
about the service they receive
in the treatment rooms. We
would like to know how you
feel about this service and
value
any
comments
or
suggestions you may have.
Repeat prescriptions….
To process prescriptions please
allows 48 hours to collect from
surgery. If ordering to collect
from a chemist please allows
72 hours. We no longer collect
prescriptions via
telephone.
Please order in writing or if
you collect regularly from a
chemist you can order though
the chemist.
Don’t forget… “Book on the day” appointments. If you call
between 8:30-10:00 on the day, you will be offered a time with
a GP or our GP pharmacist Helen Kilminster.
