projects including green vehicles. We offer a variety
of loans with discounted rates and longer terms
to help you finance your efficiency and renewable
projects, reducing your overall energy costs.

Fixed Rate Balloon
Standard Energy Improvement Loan: This loan can help you finance solar, heating systems, weatherization, heat
pumps, pellet stoves, windows, doors, appliances, bicycles, and other energy efficiency purchases and upgrades.
Fixed Rate Balloon Loan: Designed to finance larger solar projects, this long-term loan has an amortization that is
longer than your loan term. This special pay schedule keeps your payments low throughout the payback period, and
results in a final balloon payment at the end of the loan term. The one-time VGreen loan modification is especially
advantageous for reducing your loan principal, and in turn, the balloon payment.

Heat Saver Loan Program
Brought to you by the Vermont Department of Public Service and Efficiency Vermont’s Efficiency Excellence
Network, VSECU is participating in the Heat Saver Loan program. This state-funded program offers discounted
interest rates for eligible thermal energy efficiency projects and purchases. VSECU also offers discounted interest
rates on financing for eligible solar purchases through the state’s Community Solar Loan and the Windham Solar
