Did you ever wonder about where Middle Eastern dance started or
who some of the premier dancers were?
Cassandra will teach her lively and informative class on
"The History of Middle Eastern Dance, Part 1."
She will introduce us to theories describing the dance
that are based on old tomb paintings and teach us
about some of the great dancers from before 1930 like Badia Masabni.
The date for Part 2 (1930 to the present) will be announced shortly.
