Director’s Corner
Dear ECC Parents,
It is so hard to believe we are in May! May is tough and bitter
sweet; sweet because we have accomplished so much in the last
ten months, the children have blossomed and bitter because it’s
almost over for some of our friends as our school year is coming
to an end.
It was our first year at the new facility and it was a very interesting
for everyone; our staff, our families and our children. We learned
so much and have adapted and made many changes as well.
In this newsletter you will find a survey. Please help us by completing it and returning it to our ECC office. You can also leave
the surveys in the ECC mailbox. We need your help to make our
program even better!
It has been a pleasure serving you this year and we look forward
to continue to serve you in the future.

places of relaxation, joy, love,
peace, and safety.

At this meeting the ECC will
have it’s 2016-2017 ECC
Advisory Board nominations
and elections. (Please look
for your ballot in this newsletter.) We are looking to fill
the following positions:

ECC mommies may arrive as early at 11:45 am for the event.



Social Chair
The ECC will have a Mother’s Day Fiesta on Friday, May 6, 2016 at
12 noon in the Acts Suite of our building. ECC Mommies are invited to wear their “Fiesta Best” for the event. ECC children will be
excused from their uniform so that they may also wear their “Fiesta
Best” to the event.
PK 3-(Ms. Angelica)-Guacamole to share with 8-10 people
TWOS-(Mrs. Orietta & Mrs. Danielle)2 gallons of tea or lemonade
Nursery (Mrs. Lucy & Mrs. Clarisa) 2 dozen cookies
ECC Dads: we will need volunteers, please stop by the office
to see how you can help.
ECC 2015-2016 Accounts
All 2015-2016 ECC accounts will need to be closed by Monday,
May 16, 2016. We appreciate your help in this matter. Please
contact the ECC office if you have any questions and/or concerns.
ECC Program Survey
There is a program survey included in this newsletter, please fill out
the survey and return it to the ECC mailbox located near the front
doors. This survey will help us to better serve you in the future.

Liliana Nunez enjoys an afternoon of art and fun in the classroom!
PK 4 Graduation and Awards
On Thursday, May 19, 2016, the Pre-Kindergarten 4 classrooms will
celebrate graduation with a cap and gown ceremony at 6 pm in the Acts
Suite. Everyone is invited to attend. We look forward to seeing our
PK4 students celebrate and perform an awesome “Safari Adventure”
presentation.
PK 4 students are asked to arrive by 5:30 pm and doors will open to
everyone at 5:45 pm.
We will also acknowledge our Advisory Board and volunteers on this
evening, don’t miss it!

End of the Year Carnival
Are you registered for
Our End of the Year Carnival will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016!
Summer 2016?
We will have a petting zoo, pony rides, trackless train rides and many
carnival games and food! We will need many, many volunteers to
make this event a huge success. Walk-on’s will not be allowed.
Hurry spots are limited and almost full,
stop by the ECC office for more information!
We will have a meeting on Thursday, May 12, 2016,
following the Advisory Board nominations at 7 pm in
the Acts Suite. There will be a sign up sheet available
on this evening and volunteer positions will fill on a
first-come, first-serve basis.
