INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION
For more than 40 years Whitelaw Engineering Machinery have supplied and serviced the needs of the general
engineering and engine reconditioners with the extensive range of machines and equipment.
An expatriate Victorian, Graham Whitelaw settled in Queensland during 1948. Graham, originally a toolmaker
spent a number of years with machine tool suppliers and in 1965 founded what is now Whitelaw Engineering and
Machinery. In 1966 Graham was joined by his son Rocky, who is now the company’s managing director.
From our base in Brisbane and through a network of distributors Whitelaw Engineering and Machinery has
maintained a prominent position as a major supplier to the industry through regular participation in exhibitions
and machinery shows.
Over the years the company has supplied thousands of machines to all types of customers within the engineering
industry including manufacturers, general engineering workshops, educational institutions, government
departments, mining, power generation and the automotive industries.
Through our association with leading Taiwanese manufacturers we are pleased to present our new range
of machine tools imported under the brand
a Latin word meaning ‘FINE, SUPERB, EXCELLENT,
SUPERIOR’. The range of
machine tools have been strategically developed to ensure you receive a

FMB is one of Europe’s leading bandsaw manufacturers. Out of their 20,000m² facility in Bergamo Italy, the company produces
over 29 models of Manual, Semi Automatic and Automatic bandsaws with a capacity of Ø100mm up to Ø630 mm along with
a complete range of solutions for material handling. FMB bandsaws combine the advantages of a circular cold saw with the
speed of an abrasive saw and the capacity of a traditional bandsaw.
Due to the cutting accuracy and squareness, large capacity and pivoting saw head, FMB bandsaws are ideal for a wide
range of engineering, steel fabrication and machine shops. Our Semi-Automatic versions offer hydraulic clamping, positive
hydraulic cutting pressure and auto return after the cutting cycle. Automatic series band saws offer production, accuracy,
ease of set up and versatility in a compact package. The CN control allows the operator to simply punch in the cutting length,
the number of cuts required, storing up to 99 programs minimizing scrap.
