• In 1980, Augie purchased the company from Sunnen
Products, and Guspro was born.
• Guspro ceased manufacturing of Sunnen products in
Canada, but continued as an exclusive distributor.
• Guspro later expanded into the skate care industry
with the acquisition of Blademaster®.
Sales Manager
• Paul (Augie’s son) left his role as a technologist in the
Honing Lab at Sunnen Products in St. Louis to join
Guspro in 1983.

the business to include BAYCO® heat cleaning ovens.
