TAX AND COMPLIANCE FIRM OF THE YEAR
Despite persistent rhetoric about the death of compliance and simple tax advice, this service
line continues to be profitable and in demand from clients.
This award recognises a firm that successfully maintains tax and compliance advice in an
ongoing service offering, with plans to maintain and grow its client base.
Along with business growth metrics, the award considers the activities, strategies and
actions of the firm in terms of driving increased revenue and an active client base in its tax
and compliance arm.
This award is a group award and is open to:

All SMSF and/or accounting firms which provided tax and compliance services during
the 2016 calendar year. It is based on activities between 1 January 2016 and 31
December 2016.
NOTE: Business metrics and performance will account for 50 per cent of the judging
assessment; responses to open-ended questions will account for 50 per cent of the judging
assessment. Your firm may also be contacted as part of the assessment criteria for
corroboration and/or additional details.
