time.
MR MYLAN:
No, I didn't, mate. I didn't have enough
You on the train still?
MR WILLIAMSON:
Yeah, mate.
MR MYLAN:
Mate, I caught up with Mark. He's still
there. He's good, but he's just - he's still sort of just
feeling me out a bit and I think, as is probably Jeff and
the ACTU, and he just said like what - look, I think where
he's coming from is whether it looks like the unions are
ganging up on her and taking sides and I said, "Mate,
you're not taking sides." I said, "You can even go and say
that. It's just a matter of, you know, the whole thing is
inappropriate what they've done and that the unions have
got to - you know, the lines between the union movement and
the industrial umpire shouldn't be blurred." I said,
"You'll work out the words," but I said, "Yeah, look, they
may come out with a media response and say even more people
are ganging up on them," but I said, "If you want to put
something in there to say look, there's an investigation,
we're not going to get involved in that and the outcome
will be known at some point, but in relation to this" - and
he said, "Yeah, yeah." So he's chewing it over a bit
I think.
MR WILLIAMSON:
Good.
MR MYLAN: And I said well, "Mark, you know, there
may be a few other affiliates sort of come out and say, you
know, why aren't we doing something about it as well, so
think of it that way." But, look, I think he's good and he
knows we're solid and everything that everyone said is
solid but he's just chewing over. And, mate, you wouldn't
believe it - so I left here and rushed up the office to see
(indistinct) and then I had to go to the doctor's - I've
just come back now - I got down in the lift and two blokes,
who looked like coppers, had a video camera, a still
camera, and all these papers and were going upstairs. And
I thought, oh, Jesus. So I just rang (indistinct) and put

her on alert and said, "Don't forget you've got to call the
lawyers in case this is it." I said, "I think it's it."
Anyway, it wasn't. But I tell you what, if that's what
they look like, these guys were it. I tell you.
I thought, oh, fuck, there they are video camera, fucking
receipts, got mows, look like (indistinct), mate, but
anyway.
MR WILLIAMSON:
MR MYLAN:
It wasn't them.
It wasn't, so all is good.
MR WILLIAMSON: Okay.
Did you catch up with Jed?
MR MYLAN: Well, I was just about to and then Darren
come back, so I said, "Mate, I'll see you over the road."
So he started telling me about it and I said, "Well, mate,
you saw the resolution we had this morning" and I said,
"Anyway" - and Darren come and I said, "I'll talk to you a
bit 1ater."
MR WILLIAMSON:
Yeah, okay.
MR MYLAN:
I didn't want to do it in front of
Darren, because he'll get all precious, but Bob was there
and yeah.
MR WILLIAMSON: Okay. And Jed's all right? Have we got
him back on the boat, do you think?
MR MYLAN:
Mate, I think so. I think he's vastly
different from even what he was this morning and I think
you coming down as well, that was big ones, mate, so
I appreciate that.
MR WILLIAMSON:
MR MYLAN:
mate.
Yeah. Okay.
He'll be right. We'll keep in the boat,
MR WILLIAMSON: Okay. Good luck tomorrow. Make sure
that those papers, if they're going to take them from the
room -MR MYLAN:
Yeah.
