To make the best use of your entertainment space, there are several factors
that you should consider before choosing a TV. These include: TV screen size,
viewing distance and height and viewing perspective. Vogel’s has designed a
helpful tool that shows you how the different elements affect each other.

In general, most viewers feel comfortable sitting away from a regular
LCD/Plasma TV at a distance of 1 metre for every 10˝ of screen size.
(e.g. 2.5 metres away from a 24˝ screen).
Range of movement
For optimum viewing, your eyes should be level with the middle of the screen
when seated in your normal viewing position. Vogel’s range of TV supports
allows you to position your TV at the ideal viewing height.

Evolution optimally adjustable support
The Evolution 6000 ‘optimally adjustable’ supports offer you the ultimate in
comfort and freedom of movement. Pull it out from the wall and turn it a full
60 degrees to the left and right or tilt it 15 degrees forward and backward to easily
view it from anywhere you like. Mount your screen in an alcove and pull it straight
forward out of the alcove towards you before turning or tilting. It moves smoothly
and safely with just one hand thanks to Vogel’s unique smart head design.

Evolution 6000 adjustable support
Adjust the screen to get the best view. Pull out the Evolution 6000 ‘adjustable’
support and turn the screen 20 degrees to the left or right or tilt it 15 degrees
forward and back. Afterwards, simply fold the screen back against the wall.

Mighty Brighty is a new and unique concept for creating the perfect projection screen right on your wall. Just

Same as the MPW 20, except this version has everything you need to paint the
entire wall so you do not see the edges of the projection screen. We call this
the Invisible Wall Solution because when you are not using your screen you
simply remove the magnetic dark border and all you see is a normal white or
light grey wall. Nobody sees that it is also an excellent projection screen.

Placing speakers
The sound that you hear in a room is as much influenced by the placement of
the speakers and the acoustic performance of the room’s surface and contents
as it is by the quality of the speakers and electronics. The illustration below
shows the optimal placement of speakers for the best home cinema acoustics.
In general, the front speakers should be placed level with the TV. The centre
speaker should be placed just above or below the TV. The rear speakers
should be placed slightly behind you and not aimed directly at you. Speakers
should always be mounted on a solid, stable base. The best possible solution
is a speaker stand or wall mount.

Experience gives you twice as much viewing enjoyment. For TV mode, the table
supports a normal flat screen TV and has plenty of room for CDs, DVDs and
other A/V equipment. To switch to theatre mode, simply pull up the full-size
projection screen that is built into the table. The screen covers the front of the
LCD screen and its side arms hold it firmly in place. Pull out the square cube
under the table, place it in front of the screen and press on the button
to move the projector into position.

DFP 2110 and DFP 2140 have a top shelf that is sealed with UV glue that
provides stable support for a LCD/Plasma screen TV with a foot. With the DFP
2105 and DFP 2145, the Perugia Column extends above the shelves and your
LCD/Plasma screen TV can be mounted on it. Each piece of furniture has
shelves made of crystallite safety glass.
