s Breakfast at the hotel.
s Discover the Amish lifestyle on a full day guided tour of
rural Holmes County, Ohio. Visit the Behalt Mennonite
Information Center - a 265 ft. cyclorama describing the
history, culture, and lifestyle of the Amish, Mennonites
and Hutterites. Treat your taste buds to a variety of
delicious Amish cheeses, baked goods & candies at
Heini’s Cheese Chalet & Kauffman Bakery.
s Free time in for lunch on own and shopping in Berlin, Ohio. Here you'll find a pastoral village where
horse-drawn buggies travel the country roads and merchants offer Amish goods in their quaint shops.
s Then visit Wendall August Forge where craftsmen fashion pewter goods.
s Visit Yoder’s authentic Amish farm. Take a ride in an Amish buggy.
s Arrive at the charming Carlisle Village Inn, Sugar Creek for two
nights.
s Enjoy a hearty, home-cooked dinner at a local Amish home.

Day Three
s Breakfast at the Inn.
s Travel to Dresden, Ohio - headquarters of the
Longaberger Basket Company. You’ll be fascinated as you
view the headquarters known as the Basket Building - a
seven story office building built in the shape of a basket!
Then tour the manufacturing building to see how a basket
weaver creates a Longaberger basket. There will be an
opportunity for you to purchase your favorite Longaberger
baskets. Free time at the Homestead for lunch on own and
shopping here.

ride on the Ohio & Erie Canal.

s Take a guided tour of Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron, Ohio - the former home of Franklin Seiberling,
cofounder of Goodyear Tire and Rubber. This is Ohio’s
largest private house and includes a 70-acre garden with a
lagoon, conservatory & teahouse - a blooming paradise!
s Arrive at Sauder Heritage Inn, a charming hotel with the
ambiance of a country inn.
s Enjoy homemade foods from the kitchen for dinner in the
Barn Restaurant at Sauder Village.
s After dinner, enjoy an old fashioned
hymn sing at an historic country

Day Five
s Breakfast at the Inn.
s Explore historic Sauder Village - a
living history village where you can
visit a time now past. Explore the village with paved walkways that lead to
34 restored structures complete with
historic tradesmen, costumed
interpreters, a homestead with a barnyard full of animals
and a museum. Learn of the origins of the Sauder Furniture
Company. Be sure to browse through shops featuring crafts
and a bakery.
s Enjoy a hearty lunch of Amish Home Cooking at the Das
Dutchman Essenhaus, Middlebury, IN. Afterward spend
free time on the Essenhaus grounds to browse through the
