ABOUT US
We founded ProAm USA in 2003 after working in the video and film industry and
experiencing the challenges of using camera mounting equipment. Following nearly a year
of development, we released our first product, the world’s first camera crane that didn’t
require any tools for setup. It was also the first crane that could be setup by one person –
breakthroughs in camera supports and the first in a continuing series of innovations from
our company.
More than 10 years later we are leading the industry in camera mounting innovation. Our
products are used by film and video professionals worldwide as well as by serious
amateurs and many film schools. All of our products are designed, engineered, and
assembled in the United States. We take pride in both our innovation and our
craftsmanship.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to make it easy to shoot amazing video and create incredible films by
manufacturing well-designed, superior quality crane and jib systems for high-end hobbyists
and professional photographers and filmmakers. We believe that photos and movies uplift
our lives and document our moments of wonder, suffering and joy as no other art form can,
and we want to be a part of those experiences.
OUR ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
As a business, we are also committed to preserving the environment. Our facilities are
powered by two solar PV systems, one 4.8kW and one 10kW system. We use recycled
material for packaging and recycle all incoming cardboard. We also use UPS Carbon Neutral
for all outgoing UPS shipments, helping to reduce our carbon footprint. Through the UPS
Carbon Neutral program we contribute to projects like Garcia River Forest in the United
States, Fujian Landfill Gas in China, La Pradera Landfill Gas in Colombia, and Cholburi
Wastewater Biogas-to-Energy in Thailand.

PRODUCT INFO
The ProAm DVC50 can be used as a DSLR camera or a
HD video camera crane/jib. It is 4ft (1.22m) long and
supports all cameras which are less than 8 lbs
(3.63kg) in weight very securely. It is exceptionally
useful for tight, enclosed spaces with its sleek and
chic design.
The maximum extension of the camera when fixed to
ProAm DVC50 is 3ft (90cm) and the minimum is 2ft
(60cm). The fulcrum can be moved to 1 of 4 positions.
When mounted to a ProAm Crane Stand or any strong
tripod, you can attach the ProAm DVC50 Compact
Camera Crane/Jib and extend your camera to a height
of 9ft (2.75m).

PRODUCT INFO
The Orion Jr. DVC60 holds DSLR cameras up to 12
pounds while a larger optional plate makes it
compatible with larger cameras, resting on a threefoot extension from the fulcrum and two feet of
adjustment. The optional stand increases the height
to nine feet. Included dual counterweight bars and
auto-leveling for smooth motion, as well as an autotilt feature for better horizontal control, mean the
difference in professional shoots at a hobbyist price.
Assembled in the US of scratch-resistant powder
coated aluminum with a steel tripod mount, the
DVC60 comes pre-assembled with no tools required.

There is nothing that makes for a camera shot quite
as exciting as a camera crane. You'll be able to
execute smooth pans, zoom-ins, and dolly-style
shots with the professionalism of a hollywood
studio; but at a price of under $300.00, you won't
need the contract of an A-list Hollywood producer in
order to secure its services for your next video
shoot.
With the ProAm USA Orion DVC200, operators can
choose to tilt the camera independently while tilting
the crane body so there is no need for an expensive
motorized pan/tilt head, or by using the auto tilt
feature, keep the camera fixed at the same angle
while tilting the crane body. Most cranes force you
to keep the camera level while booming. That won't
allow you to keep focused on a subject and can
severely limit your shots.

professional-grade Orion DVC200 crane, the Orion
DVC210 is the first camera crane built specifically for
DSLR cameras weighing up to ten pounds. Extending
to a reach of eight feet on a strong aluminum frame
with black powder-coating, the Orion DVC210 uses an
over-slung platform to stabilize the weight and offer a
higher capacity.
The pre-assembled, easy-to-use crane offers an
extended manual tilt handle for increased leverage,

professional, the Taurus XL HD750’s newly revamped
design makes this one of the highest quality camera
cranes available today. Built in five sections, this
modular crane reaches a total of twenty feet in length
while still being compatible with cameras up to thirty
pounds. This unit includes a heavy duty tripod and full
360-degree bearing mount. With auto-tilt and a cable

STANDS AND TRIPODS
ProAm USA Cranes can be a very effective tool for video production. However, it must
always be operated in a safe and cautious manner. Since the tripod or stand should be
stable and not at risk of collapsing due to the weight of the crane with camera and
sufficient counterweight attached, ProAm has these three recommended supports for
our ProAm Cranes.
ProAm Stand is specially made
for use with the ProAm cranes
and will not fit other models. It
can support up to 100 pounds and
is highly recommended if you do
not have a tripod that is rated to
hold the weight of the crane,
camera and counterweights. It
can extend up to 6 feet. Includes
all aluminum stand mount.
