Metalmaster® Compound Action Snips
The Wiss® line of Metalmaster® compound action snips is the most complete line on the market. Metalmaster® snips are advanced
metal cutting tools originally developed for cutting extremely tough alloys used in the aircraft industry. Wiss® Metalmaster® snips
are widely used by (HVAC) professional metal workers in gutter and flashing work, fabrication of heating and cooling ducts
and for siding installation. Wiss® Metalmaster® snips are popular among homeowners for many projects found around
the home. Maintenance specialists and industrial workers in the appliance,
aircraft, automotive, electrical, and construction industries know the
value of Wiss snips. Wiss® Metalmaster® snips offer superior cutting
performance required of conventional snips to handle acute angles, complex
patterns and circular shapes in galvenized steel up to 18 gauge (.049"). The M5R
is recommended for 16 gauge (.065").
The jaws of Wiss® Metalmaster® snips are made of durable and wear-resistant special molybdenum steel.
This provides the extra service demanded by the compound lever action and withstands the severe strain of cutting
heavy stock or tight curves.
Wiss® also offers a comprehensive range of tinner’s snips in various sizes. These are available in right, left, or straight cut, depending
on the pattern. Made from drop-forged steel, each tool features polished jaws for smooth action, cleaner cutting, and grips for increased
comfort and performance.
