The Fox Valley Writing Project
(University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh) is
dedicated to the ongoing improvement
of writing skills and instruction. For
over 25 years the Project has trained
educators to excel as teachers of
writing. All summer writing camp
instructors have participated in the Fox
Valley Writing Project.

Michelle Draves is a teacher of
third graders at Clay Lamberton
Elementary School in Berlin. Her
passion for literacy led her to pursue a
master’s degree in reading, and she is
actively involved in the Fox Valley
Writing Project. This summer marks
her fourth year as director of the
Berlin Young Writers’ Camp. She is
inspired by the brilliance of young
authors and looks forward to working
with a talented group of writers this
summer.
