Adoption of Update to ADA Transition
Plan January 2006
• ADA Transition Advisory Committee – Forum for
Citizen input on development of plan and
prioritization of improvement projects.
• A concise plan to keep the City’s momentum
towards ADA compliance and accessibility for all
citizenship.
• Appointment of an ADA Coordinator to monitor
the plan and respond to citizen ADA related
requests and complaints.
ADA Sensitivity Training For All
Employees Implemented January 2007
City Adds A Total Of 80 New Curb Ramps
This Year During Federal Overly Project
The City will add an addition 84 Ramps
under the CIP During 2007 For a total of
