security and tissue approximation with
minimal tissue trauma.
MORE VERSATILE
Single Port Access (SPA) suturing is readily
facilitated as no instrument triangulation
is necessary to obtain secure closure of
tissue using the Quik-Stitch System. The
5 mm Quik-Stitch is the ideal alternative
to clips and suture loops, and eliminates
the need for larger cannulas when desired.
The Disposable Quik-Stitch Suturing
System consists of these easy-to-use
components:
5 mm disposable applicator. Introduces
and secures the suture spool, releases
the pre-tied knot and tightens the knot
as required.
2.1 mm disposable, self-righting stainless steel needle driver. Used to drive
the needle and secure the pre-tied knot
at the surgical site.
Patented suture spool. Holds an
absorbable or non-absorbable suture
with a pre-tied locking Roeder knot
and a straight and curved taper point
or straight blunt tip needle.
The 5 mm Quik-Stitch system is available
in different handle and needle driver
lengths to accommodate a variety
of closed procedures.
