Environmentally Friendly. Lead Free. ROHL announces the introduction of a contemporary Matte Black finish, exclusively for the ROHL Allia Fireclay Sink Collection. This fresh take on fireclay was previewed at the 2010 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), receiving rave reviews from kitchen & bath designers. Now, this finish is available on the entire Allia Fireclay Collection, consisting of seven sinks in a variety of sizes and styles. The Matte Black perfectly connects with the more “organic” style that continues to find its way into town and country kitchens. The color is a warm complement to honest finishes and fixtures like soapstone, low-luster granite and hand rubbed wood countertops. The look emphasizes the trend toward subtle sophistication and a relaxed casual style. Since 1892, in the Limoges region of France, Allia fireclay sinks have been made with the same organic clay that goes into the world-renown Limoges fine tableware. Available in the U.S. exclusively from ROHL, Allia sinks are as durable as they are beautiful. Each sink is covered with a thick layer of luminous glaze, which, when fired at 2264°F, fuses with the clay to provide an exceptionally strong, hard surface that is stain, scratch and chip resistant.
