• In FTU the Neon injected discharges
show a spontaneous rise of the electron
density with an increase of the peaking
factor of 30%.
• Transport analysis has shown that the presence of the Neon induces a
decrease of the ion thermal diffusivity
• An estimate of the particle transport coefficients D e U confirms that the
Neon doped discharge has more inward pinch.
