fireworks and family fun for a tremendous two-day celebration here in Michiana.

children’s activities, good eats and great treats for all.

Parks: We have 6 parks with 13 acres,
including the largest along the Little
Elkhart River and the famous World’s
Fair Krider Gardens. The largest park in
the county, Bonneyville Mills, is a few
miles to the northwest with hiking and
cross-country skiing trails and an operating grist mill.
Bike/walking path: Running from the
southwest side of town near the schools
past downtown and along Krider Gardens
to Shipshewana 6 miles to the east and
being extended to Goshen to the southwest in 2013 for a total of 16 miles of
paved trail.
