What TiO2 provides:
Whiteness
Opacity
UV protection
>> Página 12 // 31
.prox
How MICRAL® OPAC EXTRA
responds to the above requirements:
Whiteness: Micral OPAC EXTRA is obtained from ultra-white marble with L
(luminosity) > 98 and b (yellow index) < 1.
Opacity: The specific design of Micral OPAC EXTRA particle size distribution leads to
higher opacity than any competitor’s grade.
UV protection: The low amount of iron oxide in Micral OPAC EXTRA does not
negatively affect the thermal & UV stability of the paint film.

The films were applied on lenetas using a draw-down bar with 150 microns gap and were stoved for 30 minutes at 130 ºC.
Whiteness was measured with Spectraflash SF 450. Gloss measured with a Minolta Multigloss 268.
