AREA INFORMATION
The Town of Argyle, Texas is located along
the I-35W corridor and surrounded by the communities of
Denton, Lewisville, and Flower Mound. Argyle is rural living
at it finest. Although, it is tucked away among 2 lane
country roads, highways, health services, entertainment,
shopping, and recreation are all close by including the
Texas Motor Speedway and DFW International Airport
which are both under 20 minutes away.
Argyle is known for its rolling land with its
mature oaks, little to no crime, highly respected exemplary
status schools, proximity to Dallas and Fort Worth, and
lastly its rural atmosphere and high quality of life. Argyle’s
population recently broke the 3,000 mark, and is expected
to grow beyond 12,000 with the anticipation of newly
approved plans for moderate-density housing and mixed
retail and business centers. McGinnis Real Estate is
proposing a $1 billion project that will add approximately
900 acres of homes priced from $230,000 to $1,000,000
and 200 acres of business and retail alone. The town is
determined to keep its small town luster, with 80% of the
community retaining its country estate appeal.
