OVERVIEW.
The R nineT from BMW Motorrad is a unique combination of tradition and
innovation, a roadster like they used to make them. It celebrates riding as it
was meant to be in a distinct, modern fashion. Its classic styling achieves
the maximum visual impact, while the air and oil-cooled boxer engine is
designed for sheer excitement, putting out an impressive 81 kW (110 hp)
with 119 Nm of torque. On the road, you’ll revel in the nineT’s relaxed yet
dynamic ride. The finish is elegantly handcrafted, the materials of the very
highest quality. And if you feel inclined to put your own personal stamp on
it, the nineT lends itself beautifully to customization.

EQUIPMENT FOR THE R nineT.
This tankbag is made of water-resistant canvas-style material, and
features a lockable, waterproof main compartment with a capacity
of 11 litres. There is also a small, water-resistant outer pocket and a
transparent pocket for small items that need to be readily accessible.
Includes base plate with non-slip coating and an opening for the fuel
filler cap.

STORAGE ACCESSORIES

The all-aluminium tank is manufactured in accordance with BMW quality
standards, and hand-brushed to create its distinctive surface. This makes
each tank completely unique. A clear varnish finish is applied to protect
the tank from corrosion. And it is available in two versions so you can add
your own personal touch: featuring a visibly welded seam or a smooth
seam.
Superlative performance is a given with these bolt-on parts. They are
elegant, sporty, exclusive and durable – each one a masterpiece in its
own right. And if perfection’s what you’re after, you’ve hit the jackpot here
because they’re made of carbon, the ultimate lightweight material. The
result: stylish looks combined with technical expertise.

Aluminium seat hump cover
The aluminium seat hump cover is fitted instead of the pillion seat and
includes a small splash-proof storage compartment. The high-quality
backrest pad offers more comfort for the rider and rounds off the bike’s
café racer look.

Rear bag, waterproof
The tough, waterproof soft rear bag has a capacity of up to 40 litres and
goes perfectly with the tankbag. Featuring two water-resistant outer
pockets, it is attached to the motorcycle using the retaining tabs supplied,
and can be used even when riding at high speeds. It has a carry handle, a
padded carry strap and two straps for adjusting the volume or storing
additional luggage.

Knee pads
Akrapovič sport silencer
These ergonomically shaped rubber pads protect both sides of the tank
from scratches. And their stylish design underscores the heritage look of
the R nineT.

A top-class feature for top-quality sound: made entirely of titanium,
featuring a laser-etched Akrapovič logo, the Akrapovič sport silencer
turns every ride into a thrilling experience. Available in a choice of two
positions:
Silencer bracket
– high with long crossover pipe and two carbon heat protectors (fig. 5) for
a truly unique look.
– low with short crossover pipe, (fig. 4)

If the pillion seat frame is not fitted, this stylish forged aluminium bracket
allows you to create a whole new look. Combine this feature with the main
frame screw cover and the aluminium seat hump cover (both available
separately) to transform the R nineT into an authentic Lo Rider.

Streets ahead in form and function. The LED indicators complement the
design of the R nineT perfectly – and with reduced energy consumption
and significantly longer bulb life, they’re also a shining example of
efficiency. Also available as an equipment option.
