Powerful Minds
The Liturgical Celebration of Catholic Schools in the Diocese
of Albany will be taking place on Sunday, January 31st ,
2:00pm at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany. The Most Reverend Edward B. Scharfenberger, Bishop
of Albany, will be our celebrant. Please join us for this liturgy
as we kick off Catholic Schools week.

It’s Enrollment Time! SMSA will host two open houses in the next sever al
weeks. Our Kindergarten Open House is Thursday, Feb. 4th at 3:00 and
4:15pm. SMSA’s General Open House is Sunday, March 6th from 1-3pm (note
the time change from previous years). Volunteers are needed to assist Mrs.
Ilowiecki with preparations for each of these events. Please contact her at
[email protected] or 792-3178 Ext. 3307 if you are interested! It’s a
wonderful time, as always, to tell a friend about the school and have them call
the Admissions Office to learn more and to set up a tour. Thanks too, for putting out your SMSA lawn sign! New ones available on request.
PRIORITY REGISTRATION FOR NOAH’S ARK 2016-17! Pr ior ity registration will be offered to all current SMSA families who wish to enroll their
child in Noah’s Ark for next year beginning January 15th through Feb. 1st. You
will have the opportunity to enroll your 3-5 year old child into Noah’s Ark
during this time. Please remember spaces go quickly and the program will be
offered to the general public after Feb. 1st. Please contact Mrs. Kerpka at

SMSA HOCKEY NIGHT w/ The Adirondack Thunder at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Join PTSA for $10 Tickets & show the community our SMSA PRIDE *students
to wear gym uniform/track jacket. SMSA students have been invited to sing the
National Anthem. Miss. Dove will be selecting a few students from grades 2nd– 8th
to participate.

KERRY BOOK STORE AND CAFÉ
On Monday and Wednesday mornings come have a coffee, water, muffin, or
various snacks while perusing our new apparel available for students, parents or
grandparents. Also, Friday at pick up in the Great hall there will be many kid
favorite treats available for purchase. Come check us out.
