OP VERZOEK VAN :
Dhr. VERDONCK Gerardus, conceptueel kunstenaar, met artiestennaam Gerard GODAL,
geboren te Turnhout op 24.09.1960, wonende in België te 2275 LILLE, Vondelweg 15
Aangezien verzoekende partij het ambt van ondergetekende gerechtsdeurwaarder verzoekt
aanwezig te zijn bij het sluiten en verzegelen van tien omslagen. Elke omslag houdende een
certificaat met een idee, door hem ontworpen en genummerd van 1 tot 10;
Zo heb ik, ondergetekende, Britt DE BACKER, plaatsvervangend gerechtsdeurwaarder in
vervanging van Stefan VANDENSAVEL, gerechtsdeurwaarder met standplaats te 2300
TURNHOUT, er kantoorhoudende aan de Otterstraat nr. 179;
me heden begeven te 2300 TURNHOUT, Otterstraat 148, zijnde het adres van de firma VAN
GELDER alwaar ik het volgende heb
VASTGESTELD :
Ter plaatse tref ik dhr. VERDONCK Gerardus alias Gerard GODAL, verzoekende partij
voornoemd, mij zo verklaard;
Verzoekende partij legt mij voor:
- tien door hem genummerde certificaten die elk een door hem ontworpen idee en de
uitleg daarvan bevatten.
- tien omslagen die elk op voor en achterzijde een verschillend, door hem ontworpen
schilderij bevatten.
Daarop heeft hij in elke omslag een certificaat gevoegd samen met zijn visite-kaartje
houdende zijn coördinaten;

Verzoekende partij verklaart mij dat op de achterzijde van elk certificaat volgende algemene
contract-voorwaarden vermeld zijn;
1. The owner can have the artwork made by Gerard Godal.
2. The owner can have the artwork made by another artist of his or her choice, in which
case it should be clearly mentioned that the original idea is Gerard Godal’s.
3. If the owner decides not to have this artwork executed, the concept must never be
mentioned for copyright reasons. The owner should remain silent for ever about it in
order to protect the idea. Owner and artist make a gentleman’s agreement, in which
the owner promises to observe the strictest secrecy.
4. By buying this artwork the owner accepts these conditions.

Voormelde omslagen werden voorzien van een zegelstempel houdende de artiestennaam van
verzoekende partij;

Vervolgens heb ik mijn werkzaamheden afgerond en de locatie verlaten;
Van het voorgaande heb ik, ondergetekende gerechtsdeurwaarder, huidig proces-verbaal van
inventaris en vaststelling opgemaakt en ondertekend ten einde verzoekende partij te dienen als
naar recht, onder alle voorbehoud.

Mr VERDONCK Gerardus, conceptual artist, whose artist name is Gerard GODAL, born
in Turnhout on 24 Sept 1960, residing in Belgium, 15 Vondelweg, 2275 LILLE
Whereas the requesting party requests the undersigned judicial officer to be present at the
closing and sealing of ten envelopes; Each envelope enclosing a certificate with an idea,
designed and numbered by him;
I, the undersigned, Britt DE BACKER, a deputy judicial officer substituting for Stefan
VANDENSAVEL, a judicial officer with residence in 2300 TURNHOUT, having his office
there at 179 Otterstraat;
I went today to 2300 TURNHOUT, Otterstraat 147, which is the address of VAN GELDER, a
company, where I
ESTABLISHED :
the following;
On the spot I met Mr VERDONCK Gerardus alias Gerard GODAL, requesting party,
aforementioned, thus declared to me;
The requesting party showed me ten numbered certificates, each containing an idea which he
puts away in 10 different envelopes on front and back of which he had made a different
painting;
The requesting party also added a visiting card in the aforementioned envelopes;

The requesting party declares that on the back of each certificate following conditions of
owernership are written;
1. The owner can have the artwork made by Gerard Godal.

requesting party’s artist name;

Thereupon, I finished off my activities and left the location;
I, the undersigned judicial officer, drew up and signed this certified document of inventory
and establishment of the foregoing, to be used by the requesting party for any legal purpose,
with all reserves.
