2012/13 DIRECTORY OF MINNESOTA ORGANIC FARMS THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE developed this directory to benefit organic farmers and buyers in Minnesota. FARMERS, use it to: • Assess production and market opportunities, as well as areas of saturation. • Contact other growers. • Form production and/or marketing alliances. BUYERS, use it to: • Find farmers already growing an organic product you want to buy. • Find groups of organic farmers in a particular county or region. • Contact farmers. Organic has always been about a sense of community. This directory is a vital tool in linking various constituencies of the organic community. It specifically identifies farmers and their neighbors who are farming organically.
