When choosing moderna flooring look out for the following symbols
The Colours with integrated sound insulation are marked with
a green Plus sign and carry a “plus” in their names. Through
the direct bond between the flooring and an environmentallyfriendly wood fibreboard, it is approx. 50 % less noisy (-19db)
than standard laminate flooring. You can see moderna floorings with sound insulation on page 19.
The green staircase sign on well chosen colours shows you
that these colours are also available in our moderna scala
staircase system.
Create a harmonious change between the living rooms and
staircase enhancing the overall effect and creating a more
spacious look. This can be found on page 19 of the brochure.
This product is also perfect for staircase renovation, so if you

moderna joining systems
BHK utilizes the UNICLIC jointing system as it is amongst to
best in the world. The boards can be installed quickly and
easily using this unique angle click system. However what
helps to make this system a leader in the market is the additional possibility of tapping the board in horizontally. This
makes the installation easier, particularly in those inaccessible places (e.g., under heaters or door frames). UNICLIC differentiates itself by the precision to which it is manufactured
giving a perfect fit every time with a joint of amazing strength.
As a consequence we are able to grant a lifelong guarantee
on the connection (the first transfer, the first user).
A trick, a click and the laminate flooring is connected with
DUROCLIC. Besides, the boards can be moved individually or
by the dozen. DUROCLIC is a proven connecting system which
not only makes installation easy it also provides a strong connection to cope with the riggers of everyday life.

BHK manufactures innovative laminate flooring using nanotechnology. The result of this modern
production procedure is electron-beam-lithographed laminate (EPL).
This procedure facilitates a revolutionary mix of functions, giving laminate flooring new dimensions.
This new generation of laminate flooring now has advantages that used to apply only to other
types of flooring. These include: elasticity and flexibility, durability and value stability. Floors
with the Elano surface provide for harmonious surround sound. They are also comfortably warm
underfoot and anti-static. Ideal for walking barefoot!
PROCLIC is based on a push in push down principle which
is right hand-sided and fastens the boards by pushing in the
first short side, angle clicking long side and finally pushing
down the remaining end joint. This system is easily installed
and very stable, guaranteeing a high tensile strength. In addition, it allows a transfer of both sides, because every panel
can become individually clicked in.

At home, we are within our own four walls. Nevertheless, our home is our
environment without which we could not live. So, who loves his home, must
also love his environment. Therefore, we feel at BHK as people and as an
enterprise, obliged to do everything to spare our resources and to protect
our environment.
We produce our laminate flooring with great care and responsibility for
nature. Whenever choosing materials we naturally pay great attention to
the quality, but also ensure that the product is environmentally acceptably
produced. All our products are sourced from sustainable forests and you
can identify this by the PEFC certification which marks all our moderna
products.
Within BHK, systems are in place to check regularly the observance of
the environment protection directives, the product quality and working
environment within our works. Since 2000 we are certificated to ISO 9001
and ISO 14001.
BHK has installed its own power station and now helps the environment by
generating electricity through the burning of waste products created in the
manufacturing process. This system also supplies the heating for our offices
and factory.

Beyond the horizon to infinity, the story of moderna horizon; The flooring
has an impressive feeling of vastness, with planks of unlimited length.
You can only suppose the transition from one board to the other. Due to
the continuous grain and texture on the short sides of the board they run
seamlessly together and the convincing character of an endless plank is
achieved. Both grain and décor have been specifically designed for a board
width of 328 mm and thanks to the v-groove, combined with a natural
surface texture the authentic aesthetic of a solid wood plank is perfected.
