Plant Manager - Decock Plants

Decock Plants has its headquarters in Comines, Belgium, and is a major player in the production of young plants for
professional growers. Decock currently exports to 34 countries worldwide. This growing company is characterised by a

Desa Plants is a subsidiary of Decock Plants which produces cuttings of ornamental plants. It is located in Ejersa, 83 km from
Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. Desa Plants employs 750 people.
We are currently looking to hire new colleagues to be based in Ethiopia.
Plant Manager
After thorough training you will be responsible for the daily management of Desa Plants in Ethiopia. You will report to the
General Manager. You will create forecasts, monitor budgets and profitability, and support the continued growth of this
production location. You will work closely with your colleagues at the Head Office in Belgium.
Required profile
 You hold a degree in engineering, biotechnology, horticulture or agriculture, or have equivalent experience
 You have an entrepreneurial spirit
 You have people management skills
 You have good written & verbal communication skills in English
 You are willing to live on the farm – family is welcome and accommodation will be provided
