Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton provides a comprehensive
range of acute and community surgical and medical
services to a population of over 340,000. We are

Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)
When you need advice or have concerns PALS is here to
help and can be contacted on 01823 343536.
Public Toilets
Public Toilets are available throughout the hospital in the
areas shown on this map.
League of Friends Shops
The League of Friends run and staff a shop situated in
the Old Building. This sells confectionery, toiletries,
stationery and groceries. The shop is open 9:30am
to 4:30pm and 6:30pm to 8:00pm Monday to Friday
(excluding bank holidays) and 2:00pm to 4:00pm at
weekends.
Refreshments
Whitlock’s restaurant between Old and Queen’s Building
provides a comprehensive range of foods. This facility is
open to visitors 8:00am to 7:00pm seven days a week.
No Smoking
Musgrove Park is a smoke free hospital. Smoking is not
permitted by anyone within the premises or grounds.
Pharmacy Service
This service is available for patients in hospital and those
attending outpatient appointments.
Mobility Buggy Service
Patients and visitors who need help with mobility
across the site are able to use a free buggy service that
runs between the car parks and main entrances of the
hospital site. The mobility buggy runs at regular intervals
during working hours. The map shows the location where
the mobility buggy picks up / drops off; please look for
the icon .
Public Transport
There is a regular bus service to Musgrove Park that stops
close to the Accident and Emergency Department, in
front of the Queen’s Building. These services are run by
First National and Webber bus.

The Park and Ride bus stops on the Wellington Road (A38)
by Somerset College, a short walk from the hospital.

Car Parking
Public parking is available by Duchess Building and within
Cedars multi-storey. Payment is made on your return to
the car park via one of the pay stations. The pay stations
accept change, notes and credit/debit cards. Disabled
parking is located at Duchess 1 and Duchess 2 car parks.
