The Broomfield County Master Gardeners are here to answer your landscape and gardening questions. The
Broomfield Master Gardeners are in the Broomfield County Extension Office Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00
a.m. to 1:00 p.m., or leave a message and a Colorado Master Gardener will return your call.

Broomfield Garden Fair

The Broomfield County Master Gardener Program will host a Garden Fair for the residents of Broomfield on
Saturday, March 1st at the Broomfield Community Center. This year’s Garden Fair theme is “Gardening in a Dry
Climate”. This free event will include educational tables hosted by the Broomfield Master Gardeners, an
Ask-A-Master Gardener table, seminars, vendor tables and door prizes!

Plant Select Xeriscape Demonstration Garden at the Broomfield City and County Building
Designed and maintained by the Broomfield Master Gardeners, the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden at the
Broomfield City and County Building is one of 90 Plant Select Demonstration Gardens throughout the Rocky
Mountain and High Plains area. This public garden, located in front of Broomfield's City and County Building at
One DesCombes Drive, gives residents the opportunity to view Xeriscape plants in an actual garden setting. For
more information, call the Broomfield County Extension Office at (720) 887-2286. For plant information and garden designs, you can also visit the Plant Select Program’s website at www.plantselect.org.
The Colorado Master Gardener Program
Are you interested in becoming a Colorado Master Gardener? Colorado Master Gardener Volunteers assist CSU
Extension staff in delivering research-based information about home gardening to foster successful gardening.
CMG volunteers serve by answering phone calls and emails at County Extension Offices, staffing diagnostic clinics,
teaching gardening classes, writing newspaper articles, and mentoring community gardening and greening projects. Call the Broomfield County Extension Office for more information at (720) 887-2286.
Colorado State University Extension in the City and County of Broomfield provides unbiased, research-based information about 4-H youth
development, family and consumer issues, gardening, horticulture and natural resources. As part of a nationwide system, Extension brings the
