Student placement: Nutrition and quality assurance department. Salary £16,000 Wagg is a market leading manufacturer of pet foods in the UK, with exports to over 15 countries. Its two core brands are Wagg and Harringtons sold widely through all the major grocery multiples. We manufacture dog, cat, smaller animal foods and treat products from 3 factories within the UK Family owned and managed, this entrepreneurial company is looking for placement students to support its work on key sensory and process controls within the production process. A successful placement may also be considered for longer term employment, post graduation Roles: • Reporting directly to either the heads of QA or Production, depending on project. Likelihood of regular appraisals • Supporting application of (new) process / process controls across key functions • Opportunity to gain direct experience in running parts of the production process • Creating monthly reports, identifying progress / issues and opportunities • Possibility of linking the project back to ongoing degree work, including continued access to Wagg post placement Are you up for the challenge?
