The upcoming, First Annual Weenie Roast has been cancelled due to a slight malfunction with the event organizer's
weenie roaster! Below is a photo of the disgruntled weenie roast organizer.

Alarming U.N. Report Finds World Lost 40
Million Acres Of Personal Space Last Year
NEW YORK—According to an alarming report released Friday by the United Nations, nearly 40 million acres of
personal space were lost around the world in 2015, with data showing these vitally important yet extremely vulnerable
regions are being wiped out at the fastest rate on record. “We must act quickly and decisively to protect our current
personal boundaries if there’s any hope of preserving what little personal space we still have left. If we do not drastically
change our behavior, it’s very possible that future generations might grow up in a world where a comfortable buffer zone
between them and others simply doesn’t exist.” The U.N. report warned that the worldwide loss of personal space was
rapidly approaching a critical tipping point, placing the global population at extreme risk of catastrophic crowding and
jostling.

Next month, the Immigration Department
will start deporting seniors (instead of
illegals) in order to lower Social Security
and Medicare costs. The head of the
department stated, "the older people are
easier to catch and less likely to remember
how to get back home."

Law enforcement officials say counseling services will

Villas Resident Observed Protesting at Trump
Rally!
Last month, Bill Harvey attended a Donald Trump rally and became quite disturbed
over what he witnessed. Bill then decided not to hold back anything and let the
world know about his disgust over the entire matter! After he left the rally, he was
overheard saying, "There! That'll show them I'm not messing around!"
Epcon Releases Plans for New Condo
Epcon is in the process of building a new condo community on Glenhurst Drive just to north of the Villas at Apple Creek!
Jason Mroz, obviously excited by the new venture, stated that "the new buildings will set the enire condo industry on
its head! The one-family buildings will become the new standard in the building industry. We have hired some of the
best carpenters in the area to insure quality completion of this epic project!"

The Villas Newsletter
The Newsletter by and for the residents of the Villas at Apple Creek
Production Editor - Gary Krueger
Happy April Fools Day! This is the REAL newsletter!
Other than the first three pages of the April Villas
Foolsletter, the rest of this edition is legitimate. From this
page forward, you can believe what you read. (At least
most of the time...remember I am still putting this
together!)
There have been some minor changes in the Villas
Newsletter and the Villas website. After a few tweaks, I
now feel that the website is a bit friendlier and easier to
navigate. I have rearranged a few pages so that most pages
can be accessed from the menu buttons on the top of each
page. I don't want anyone, other than our residents, to have
access to our names, addresses, phone numbers and email
addresses. Therefore, only a few pages are "hidden" from
the main menu. Sensitive information is still password
protected.
The newsletter is now being assembled with a different
program and a few minor changes have occurred. The
changes are very minimal and may not even be noticed.
Our Thrivent Neighbors
Troy Beck, a financial Associate of Thrivent Financial, visited the Men's Club last
month and took a few minutes to introduce Thrivent to the Villas at Apple Creek.
He talked about the beginnings of Thrivent (Aid Association for Lutherans) and the
services offered to its members. Troy shared some interesting facts about the land
that the organization owned (from Northland Avenue out to their present location).
When they constructed the new
building, Appleton did not have water
services, that far north. In order to
convince the city to extend the water
service, they offered an exchange.
Thrivent offered Appleton the land
that is now Memorial Park in exchange
for water service!
