Our Mission
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity
brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
JUNE 6 - 10, 2016
Home Builders Blitz 2016 is a partnership between Habitat for Humanity
affiliates and the local building community to make sure more families
have a chance to own a simple, decent, affordable home.
10 homes … five days … $260,000.
That’s the goal we have our eyes set on as we prepare for our Home Builders Blitz 2016 this coming June.
This annual event is a partnership between Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando and the local building
community to help more families have access to simple, decent and affordable housing. This year’s blitz —
which will take place at Butler’s Preserve — will bring together thousands to construct homes from start to
finish in just one week.
The Home Builders Blitz Toolkit

Our Impact
“Improving our community in a positive and
meaningful manner is one of the core values of our
company’s legacy. We measure our involvement in
organizations like Habitat for Humanity of Greater
Orlando based on a new benchmark of our company’s
“ROI” (results, outcome and impact). We were so
blessed to be part of the Home Builders Blitz, which
provided a new home for a local family. ”
Jeffrey K. Jennings
President, Jack Jennings & Sons
“Butler’s Preserve is more than homes and lawns. And even though I absolutely
love my porch, what’s even more valuable is the relationships I’ve formed with my
neighbors — so much so that I consider them my family. There are no words to
describe what it means to have your own home, and I will forever be grateful to
God, the Habitat Greater Orlando team and all the builders and volunteers who
helped me get to this point.”
