This course is designed for gastroenterologists, surgeons, oncologists,
radiologists, basic and clinical researchers and all physicians interested in
pancreatic diseases. Physicians and scientist committed to translational
research, cooperative studies and career development are strongly
encouraged to attend. This course welcomes mid-level medical
professionals, clinical and research nurses and related health care
professionals interested in pancreas disease research and treatments.

Pancreas disease research abstract submissions are encouraged from all
conference attendees. While novel research is preferred, abstracts
submitted at previous meetings are welcome. Please note that
scholarship applications are required to submit an abstract (see page 11).

Travel Scholarships
Trainees and junior faculty within three years of appointment may apply

amounts of $730 each will be awarded by the Collaborative Alliance for
Pancreatic Education and Research (CAPER). Scholarship applicants are
asked to follow these instructions:

The travel scholarship submission deadline is June 3, 2013. Awards will
be announced by June 17, 2013. Awardees are required to confirm
acceptance of the scholarship by June 24, 2013.
Awardee registration fees will be complimentary, and fee-waived
registration forms will be e-mailed to awardees upon selection. The $730
travel scholarship checks will be made payable to individual recipients
during PancreasFest 2013, so awardees should be prepared to pre-pay all
travel expenses. Please note that travel scholarships may not cover all
meeting expenses in full.
