Chigshe Kundrol is a text originally composed by the 9th Karmapa Wangchug Dorje. It
translates as, "Understand one, all is liberated". This means that doing one practice maintains a
pure relationship with all others. This text is a collection of almost one hundred sadhanas of
peaceful and wrathful deities, empowerment texts and histories. It is an important yet very rare
text renowned among Karma Kagyud masters.
In Jan 2014, Shangpa Rinpoche will be giving us fortunate disciples, for the first time,

empowerments of 43 peaceful and wrathful deities, such as Green Tara, Ushnisha Vijaya,
White Umbrella, Manjushri, Vajrapani, Kurukulle etc. Participants can choose which deity for
which they would like to receive the empowerment for.
We will provide all the participants with a booklet to introduce all the different deities and it
would also contain the supplication, mantra and dedication prayers for the practice of each
deity.
