Citizens’ Welfare Division, Antigua & Barbuda
I represent the Chief Welfare Officer on boards
and appropriate forums related to child care and
protection, probation and elderly care. I also provide
immediate supervision and mediation for all senior
and junior staff, assign cases to welfare officers and
edit social investigation reports for the courts and
international social service agencies
Citizens Welfare Division is a government agency
established to promote the social and psychological
well-being of citizens of Antigua & Barbuda through
empowerment-oriented services. The Division provides
professional and confidential services through social
programs which includes placement of children for care and
protection, social investigation reports for the Magistrate’s
Court, High Court and International Social Service
Agencies, and supervision of probationers and elderly care
services.
