Xpert
The one and only
Stent System
Self-Expanding Stent Systems
The world`s first 4F compatible self-expanding stent
system1, specifically designed for small vessels with
focus on hemodynamics
Ordering Information
Each stent diameter was specifically developed to guarantee a Nitinol/vessel wall coverage
of maximum 20%.
Designed for small vessels
Xpert has a homogeneous and diameter independent constant arterial surface coverage
(each stent diameter is specifically designed). The wall coverage is reduced compared to
other NiTi stents.
Radial force
Radial Force [N/cm]
Higher radial force compared to other
.018" guidewire systems. No
compromise in radial force compared
to .035" guidewire systems.

Conformability
In tortuous anatomies, a good wall apposition ensures, that the vessel lumen is not reduced
and hemodynamics are maintained.
Optimized hemodynamics
The relative wall coverage can be compared to a standard stent in a larger vessel. The
low strut profile also contributes to optimizing the vessel lumen and minimizing the flow
disturbance. This design assures minimal reduction of vessel lumen when placed in a
small vessel.

treatment in these lesion configurations.” 6
Efficacy, Conformability, Deliverability
DESTINY is an Investigator Sponsored Study (ISS). Abbott Vascular does not directly or indirectly promote any off-label use and recommends that the IFU is read thoroughly
before the use of all devices in this study.

2. M. Bosiers, DESTINY, LINC 2011.
3. DESTINY is a multi-center, randomized trial designed to evaluate safety and efficacy of XIENCE V vs. MULTI-LINK VISION in CLI lesions (Rutherford 4,5) on 140 patients.

Xpert
The one and only
Stent System
Self-Expanding Stent Systems
The world`s first 4F compatible self-expanding stent
system1, specifically designed for small vessels with
focus on hemodynamics
Ordering Information
Innovation and technology have resulted in a new generation of the Xpert small vessel stent
system, now enabling the treatment of peripheral vessels from diameter 2 mm up to 7 mm.
Each stent diameter was specifically developed to guarantee a Nitinol/vessel wall coverage
of maximum 20%.
Designed for small vessels
Xpert has a homogeneous and diameter independent constant arterial surface coverage
(each stent diameter is specifically designed). The wall coverage is reduced compared to
other NiTi stents.
