e-Granthalaya for Automation and Networking
of Libraries was conducted at Malout Institute of Management and
Information Technology
(MIMIT), Malout, Punjab
during 17th—19th Jan
2012.
The workshop was jointly
organized by MIMIT and
National
Informatics
Centre (NIC).
The workshop was attended by 39 participants
working in different Institutions under Punjab Technical University as Librarian. During the workshop,
CDs of the e-Granthalaya
Software were also distributed.

During the Concluding Session, Dr. Sanjav Sharma, Registrar,
MIMIT, Malout presented the report of 3 days and discussed various difficulties in adopting the software. Participants appreciated
the efforts being made by the NIC for Automation and Networking
of Libraries in the country. Principal, MIMIT desired to implement
the e-Granthalaya Software in all the Institutes under PTU.













