The Boulder Junction Lions Club is a local service club of approximately
69 members. Some of our service activities are: providing a scholarship
each year to an area high school senior, contributing to the seeing eye
foundation and supporting our summer youth program. We built a large
picnic shelter complete with tables, etc., next to our Community Center
and contribute to hearing, diabetes, Camp Manitowish, Camp Jorn, Lions Eye
Bank, Dr. Kate Hospice, Fire Department EMT, Library, Children’s Christmas
Party, Food Pantry Angel On My Shoulder, Camp American Legion, WI
Veterans Memorial Community/Foundation and other donations.
Our fund-raisers are the chicken and pork steak barbecue on Memorial
Weekend; Tuesday Flea Market all summer; and our big Musky Day tents
selling brats, Italian Beef, hot dogs, soft drinks, and beer. And now we
have a summer raffle and monthly raffle, also mystery dinner & youth
spaghetti dinner..
