it seems – an utterly distinctive and eye-catching coupé with a lower profile, a higher boot line and a larger, sharper, raking
windscreen to enhance its visual dynamism. Combined with sporty front seats and a leather steering wheel, the 206 CC emits
the image of style, confidence and of course, lavish comfort.
100% Cabriolet. The cabriolet puts a roof over your head in seconds, offering all the weather protection and sound

insulation of a coupé-not one that billows at speed and prone to vandalism, nor a removable hardtop with all its attendant
storage problems and inherent limitations. Restrained power, innovation and innate quality of design are the intrinsic attributes
of the 206 CC. They are all combined in this avant-garde car to create a future classic. So many elements are ahead of their
time but this car also has the smooth lines and classic touches that recall the style of other legendary cabriolets. The sharply
raked windscreen will surprise you with its sheer size, and you’ll notice that the CC sits low on the ground – just like a coupé
should. With its high boot line, flowing contours and zinging colours, this is a car with universal appeal combining a sporty
masculine persona with a seductive feminine side.

The design of the 206 CC was inspired by the challenge of combining safety with pleasure. The height of the seat belt,
for example, is more than just a stylistic whim; together with the lowered seat, it gives you extra protection. It’s just
one of the features that put the 206 CC at the cutting edge of active and passive safety. There’s also a sophisticated
braking system, including ABS with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA).
These safety features combine to give you a level of comfor t that ensures worry-free driving. ABS reduces the risk
of the wheels locking on slippery surfaces and significantly reduces braking distances. EBA assists with rapid braking
and emergency stopping. Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) and Anti-Skid System (ASR) stop the wheels from spinning.

Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) helps bring the car back onto the right track. The SMART twin front airbags mean
that their inflation pressure and speed are adjusted depending on the level of impact. The two side airbags ensure
optimal protection. There’s also a brightness sensor which automatically turns your headlights on when it gets dark
and your hazard warning lights come on, in emergency braking.
Cabriolet configuration. With the roof folded, the boot still has a
capacity of around 180 litres. A protective rear boot shelf pulls out to enable the roof to
fold away and built-in safety features ensure that the roof cannot be raised accidentally.
Coupé configuration. In coupé mode, the rear boot shelf is retracted leaving
the boot with a generous 400 litre capacity – about the same as a compact hatchback.
