Renowned as wonderful ambassadors of la Francophonie, Le Vent du Nord is
also acknowledged as an influential force and key player in Quebec’s traditional
folk music revival. Since the group’s founding in 2002, the quartet has racked
up several prestigious awards, including 2 JUNOS (Canada’s Grammys),
2 Canadian Folk Music Awards, 1 Grand Prix du Disque Charles Cros
(France) and Artist of the Year at Folk Alliance International (US).

quartet Le Vent du Nord is embarking on a new Worlwide Tour.
Le Vent du Nord is still pushing the envelope and exploring new sounds with stunning
vocal arrangements, instrumental textures and the often-astounding togetherness
they’ve built their legend on.
The show takes the audience through timeless stories and songs evoking often-forgotten episodes of Quebec’s history with poetic descriptions that are destined to
endure.The songs on Têtu overcome any and all language and cultural barriers, so,
as the cold weather makes sap rise, let the words and music of this terrific new show

The quartet’s musical talents and strong and luminous stage presence are now
recognized worldwide as evidenced in record sales approaching eighty undred
thousand units.
TÊTU WITH STRING QUARTET
True to a creative process that keeps on getter better at reaching out to all kinds
of audiences, Le Vent du Nord present a special version of their TÊTU show with a
string quartet, just like on the CD by the same title, for a total of 8 musicians on stage.

Along with their terrific musicianship Le Vent du Nord have brilliantly connected

And now, despite a frenetic live schedule over the last decade (more than 1500
concerts across North America and Europe), the band has embarked on a new
touring cycle with their latest show, Têtu (Determined) based on it’s eight album
release and one that sees the band play to, and develop, existing and new strengths.
