For those of you who arrive early to the Workshop venue we are pleased to offer you a complimentary spa circuit in
the hotel where you will be staying. This offer is valid from 09.00 to 17.00 Monday 10th only. If you decide on a spa
circuit please try to stay awake for the evening wine tasting and Workshop programme starting at 18.30.
Day 3 (optional afternoon) Wednesday 12th February – winery visit
On the 12th there is a shuttle bus leaving the Hotel at 14.30 which for a visit to the Raventos Rosell winery (Cava &
Penedès). The visit will finish at 16.30. If you would like to do this visit please let us know at the registration desk.
Transfer to Barcelona Airport
At 15.15 there will a transfer to Barcelona Airport (approx journey time 35 mins). Should you have an earlier flight you
will have to make your own way to the airport. Please ask at the Wine Pleasures registration desk for advice and
help.

The Quinta, a stately property located in the area of Condado, in the southern most part of Galicia in the northwest
corner of Spain, just a stone´s throw from the River Miño –the border with Portugal-,comprises of the remains of an
old defence tower (15th Century), and 7.4 hectares of Albariño vineyards. Fertile, mineral-rich land, it faces south

Our familily-owned and run winery is located in La Seca, the very heart of the D.O. Rueda, and the best terroir for
Verdejo, our native grape variety. We believe that a wine should express its terroir; its identity must reflect the

deep into Rueda´s soil, reflecting its character in our wines.

Our winery is located in Laguardia, at the foot of the Cantabrian Mountains, on the road to La Hoya in the area
known as Piñuelas.
Bodegas LANDALUCE was founded in the year 2000 as the result of the work of a team of associates, and together
we put all our knowledge and experience into the wines from generation to generation.
We have three fine wines: our young wine ELLE de LANDALUCE, red FINCAS de LANDALUCE and CAPRICHO de
LANDALUCE, which have made our winery a genuine market leader in terms of quality winemaking.
The secret lies in the know-how of our team and, of course, the raw materials we employ. We have 30 hectares of
vines, mainly Tempranillo, at San Gregorio, Carravalseca, San Cristobal and La Gloria, all part of the Laguardia
district and at the centre of the cantabrian mountain micro-climate in the Rioja Alavesa sub-zone.
15 hectares of this vine area are over 40 years old, alongside other vines which are over 80, the remaining 15
hectares contain vineyards of average age between 20 and 40 years old.
Another vital factor in our success is exclusive use of french oak cask for the crianza wines.

CHARMIAN Wines’ Selection is born from the desire to bring our best and delightfully amiable wines to the tables of
real wine lovers worldwide. Elaborated at our winery Falset-Marça Cooperative, founded in 1912, CHARMIAN
Wines are rich of more tan 100 years experience of wine making. We are located in the heart of the DO Montsant in
the Priorat, a region of intense wine culture that permeates every piece of land, every small corner of our cellar.
Taking great care of our vineyards in our every day work is our cornerstone to have excellent vintages, and bring
into our wines all the peculiarities of the Priorat soils and climate.
El Mas Ferrer is a family owned cellar located in a hamlet called Ca L’Avi in the Alt Penedés region, with a long
history of wine making that goes as far as 1863. El Mas Ferrer has specialised in Artisan Cava making, and has won
many awards for their outstanding Quality since their beginning in the Cava elaboration, more than 40 years ago
now. Cavas El Mas Ferrer are listed in very prestigious 3 stars Michelin restaurants wine lists' such as ARZAK and
AKELARRE in San Sebatian and has been granted a double gold medal for its high range cavas last year.

Although we have been producing wine for the last 12 years, my family has been making wine in our property for
over 100 years!!
2011 was our first vintage for commercial sale and we have now just shipped our 2012 vintage with an excellent
quality. It is a dry but very well balanced and fruity wine. We are against oaking preferring instead a young and crisp
mineral and balanced acidity which stands up perfectly to white meat dishes but truly sines with oriental food,
particularly sushi and of course sea food which is its perfect companion here in Galicia, land of the best sea food in
the World !!

Tintoralba: Maybe one of the best relation quality/price you will find in this event. Try something different, a promising local grape,
GARNACHA TINTORERA (it's one of the few grapes with a brilliant, red-pigmented, free-run juice). Our wines are under a quality
appellation DOP ALMANSA. At southeast of Spain, at only 100 km. distance from the Mediterranean Sea, with an altitude of 1.000
meter. One of the promising areas in Castilla La Mancha. We have great VALUE FOR MONEY WINES. The wines have obtained
several national and international awards/points with a good recognition from wine critics.
Celler La Muntanya: a powerful vision of winemaking that joins micro-vineyard growers, organic practices, cultural heritage and
economic sustainability to create outstanding wines. Celler la Muntanya began by rescuing, restoring and sometimes replanting
abandoned and neglected local vineyards. Celler la Muntanya focus from the start was to restore the cultural values and the
ecosystem of their home town region, Muro, which is in the Comtat Valley situated in the mountains of Alicante—south of Valencia
and inland from Spain's eastern Mediterranean coast. At its core, Microvineyard concept is simple: source grapes from a mix of
outstanding local micro-vineyards (28 Micro-Vineyards) and create high quality wines at a small, centralized winery with the help
of world class experts. Include organic practices, respect for tradition and pay each of the local growers fair rates for the quality of
their produce and you have an ecologically, culturally and economically sustainable circle of wine production. Celler la Muntanya
has received recognition and support from Slow Food Valencia, the regional chapter of Italy's Slow Food movement, for their
sustainable and ecologically responsible vineyard work and philosophy.
Bodega la Soledad: was founded on 1976 in ACEUCHAL, the heart of TIERRA DE BARROS area. Under D.O.P. Ribera del
Guadiana, nowadays is the biggest and more technological winery in the Extremadura Region with a production around 50
millions kilos of grapes.

Finca Valldosera the expression of Garraf Massif. Finca Valldosera is a family winery; we produce wines and cavas
(sparkling wines) from our vineyards, located in the Garraf Massif. Focus in making wines with style and personality,
planting the native varieties to obtain wines and cavas that express the unique terroir of Garraf. The proximity of the
sea, the rugged landscape, winemaking techniques and control in the winemaking process can offer differentiated
products, quality and personality. We believe cavas and wines have to be a reflection of the land and hands where
they come from, this is the mission of our winemaker Jordi Valls. Make wines and cavas that will be the expression of
a single territory, incomparable, unique and special as the Garraf Massif. Thanks to the control in all stages of the
production process, from the vineyard to the bottling, we devote our all effort to produce unique wines, which express

The winery came about thanks to the efforts of a team led by Luis Larrea, a wine entrepreneur who has passed on
to his family all the necessary knowledge as well as the secrets behind the production of good wine. Each member
of the family shares this same enthusiasm, and each carries out their own tasks, starting with looking after the
50,000 vine stocks that make up the family vineyard.
The ‘La Romañíguez’ estate, located deep in the heart of Elciego, comprises 15 hectares, the average age of the
vines being over 30 years. The predominant grape variety here is Tempranillo (95%) with the remaining 5%
consisting of Garnacha. The estate’s proximity to the winery, the properties of the soil and its marked geographic
delimitation, guarantee the quality of the grapes, which thus produce a great wine: CAECUS.

It was 1918 when Gandesa growers banded together to build a warehouse where they could produce their wines,
Bodega Cooperativa Agricola Gandesa was born. They had to borrow money in order to obtain financing for the
construction of the cellar, and they did mortgaging their lands and private properties . Reached this challenge , Valls
was the bank who took over funding and proposed Modernist architect Cesar Martinell ( Valls , Alt Camp, December
24, 1888 - Barcelona, November 19, 1973 ).
Modernist building was completed with the construction of the winery to produce wines in January 1920 , and olive
oil mill in November the same year.Its architectural has led to be considered one of the wine Cathedrals. It is also
listed as a Cultural Asset of National Interest by the regional government of the Generalitat of Catalonia and one of
the Seven Wonders of Catalonia , chosen in 2007 .

After nearly a century making wines, Gandesa also produces Mistela (Desset Wine) - deeply rooted variety - in
Terra Alta , these mistelas are limited production.Apart from the Grenache they produce other varieties such as
Tempranillo , Carignan , Cabernet Sauvingon , Muscat , Viogne , Macabeo among others.
The combination of different factors terrain and climate, etc make the "terroir" with a unique characteristics that
these applied together the enology lead to obtain wines appreciated by the consumer. Among with an investment of
new technology systems in the wine making room taken place in 2003 to be updated to today’s quality standards.
Today Gandesa wines are distributed regionally, and also from a few years ago has begun to export. Markets where
we are working to expand and consolidate .

Founded in 1946 “Bodegas La Remediadora” has worked to obtain the best wines. In this way, it counts with
modern facilities and the best technology, as well as capacity to elaborate 200.000 Hl.
Every year, 10 million kilograms of grapes are collected and selected, after having been cultivated by their
associates in more than 1600 ha of their own vineyards. The main varieties grown by La Remediadora are Syrah,
Merlot, Cabernet, Bobal and Tempranillo for reds and Airén, Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc and Moscatel for whites.
The winery counts with modern facilities of grape processing, deposits of different capacities that allow us to ferment
large volumes as well as small. Everything constructed in stainless steel and other special materials that guarantee
conditions of optimum hygiene and conservation.
We counted on 1600 ha of vineyards on a privileged soil, with an argillaceous-limestone, which is ideal for their
physical structure and composition. At the moment we elaborate around 10 million litres, with reds accounting for
60% of the production, 5% rose and 35% white wines

Yuntero Winery was founded on 20th March, 1954 and is located at the heart of Manzanares industrial estate with a

The Encomienda de Cervera estate lies in the heart of the volcanic massif of the Campo de Calatrava, at a height
of between 750 and 850 metres above sea level. It is located within the distinguished cultural city of Almagro.
Encomienda de Cervera is a family run business devoted to elaborate author wines, this means different and special
wines. We are special proud of our Poker de Tempranillos wine, the first wine made with 4 varieties of Tempranillo
(Rioja, Toro, Ribera and Cencibel), all of them growing up in our volcanic land.
You could say that our wines are made in a terroir, for their land, its microclimate and its elaboration, using
desposits of last generation to get all the fruit, combined with cement tanks very old tradition, difficult to find today
and passing on all its flavor .

Additional Information
At the end of the nineties, the Fuentes family founded the Rio Negro Winery. The farm is located in Cogolludo,
Guadalajara County, by the Sierra Norte Natural Park. It has 42 ha of vineyards located at 1,000 m of altitude and 70
km of distance from the nearest, challenging the traditional cultivation limits, besides its very particular soils.
It is a family stat where the entire loving care elaboration is carried out, by using only grapes of our own vineyards,
developing, aging and bottling in the property, combining manual and handmade work with the most state-of-the-art
technology and innovating processes.
Due all aforementioned, we are talking about unique and very expressive wines, which in addition have the highest
quality certified by the main guides, as well as national and international contests. Such as, the 92 points achieved in
the Peñin Guide the last four vintages, the 90 points of Robert Parker for the last vintage in the market, etc.

HIRUZTA is a familiar state cellar, recently recognized ,by the most known Spanish wine guide, Guia Penin, as the
best Txakoli Wine Cellar in Spain. Txakoli White wine is only produced in Basque Country, and the main difference
is that it is a little sparkling because of the traditional way is made. One of the main products in Basque Country
Gastronomy.
BODEGA SAN MAMES is one of the oldest cellar in Ribera del Duero, the third oldest one exactly. In 2014 the cellar
will celebrate 50 years. The two main references are Doble R Roble and Doble R Crianza, which are one of the best
options in price per value in the whole Ribera del Duero. Doble R Crianza has been awarded with the Gold Zarcillo
recently.

“Mas in Blei” is a wine cellar with 17.5 hectares located in La Morera de Montsant. The winery and farmhouse are
dated to 1756. They belong to a group of ancient buildings cultural heritage from Siurana’s river. The value of
agricultural land was recuperated by planting 20,000 vines made following the instructions of the winemaker Jordi
Torrella.
Our wines are made mainly with Grenache and Carignan, from grapes grown in our own black slate-like “licorella”
stone slopes vineyards, and adequate to the altitude and orientation of the various sectors of the plantation.

This cellar is in one of the most singular inhabited farmhouse in Montsant’s zone, “Mas de les Moreres”. In it, the
winery “celler de l’Era”, with its own 12 hectares of vineyards, has returned the activity of this farmhouse which is
documented by 1670. It has lived the comeback to the world of the wine, thanks to the recuperation of ancient
vineyards and taking care of the vineyards that were planted 12 years ago. Their vineyards, the wines and the
winery have the organic European certification from CCPAE and also the ISO 14.001:04 European certification.

Duran is a family winery that produces super-premium cavas in the Penedes región. We are the third generation of a
family dedicated to vine and winemaking. Ramon Canals, pharmacist and oenologist, is the third generation of the
family. He combines both tradition and innovation being the head of this personal project, which was initiated in
