I have chosen the playground at Carlyle Elementary School. Carlyle Elementary school is a
kindergarten to grade 6. This school has two separate playgrounds one from kindergarten
to grade three and another from grade four to grade six. I have chosen the grade four to
six playground to develop my playground circuits. These circuits are centered around our
Olympic Athletes. These circuits increase in difficulty and are timed by the teacher. The
students that maintain the three lowest times will receive ribbons in the colors of the
Olympic medals. Hopefully this will encourage the students to work hard to become
Carlyle’s Olympic students.
PROUD TO BE CANADIAN
I have chosen our Olympic Athletes as my inspiration for the circuits. In the Winter
Olympics 2010 Canada won fourteen gold medals, seven silver medals and five
bronze medals. Canada placed third overall and first in the gold medals.
These athletes should be an inspiration to all Canadian children. Through their hard
work they have become Canada’s top athletes. I am hoping these circuits will promote our
country patriotism and inspire our children to stay physically fit. The circuits are designed
to honor our countries Olympic Medalists and hopefully become role models for the next
group of Olympic athletes.

Nikki Yanofsky was born in Montreal Quebec February 8,1994.
She began her career in 2006 at the Montreal Jazz Festival.
She became the youngest person to perform at this festival.
She has returned every year since. In 2010 she was chosen
to sing the song “I Believe” written by Stephan Moccio and
Alan Frew. This song was written for the 2010 Winter
Olympics in Vancouver B.C. The song became the number one
hit in the week of February 27 ,2010. This made Nikki the first
Canadian artist to reach the number one since Avril Lavigne
in 2007, for her hit “Girlfriend”. The song “I Believe reached
Quadruple Platinum for digital downloads in 2010.
Lets all stand tall and be proud of this great land we live in.
I hope this presentation will help more children and parents
take action and get in shape. The opportunity is there to
Be all you can Be. Remember just Believe in Yourself.
