PVSchools Accomplishments 2016 About PVSchools For more than 100 years, Paradise Valley Unified School District has consistently represented the best in Pre-Kthrough 12th grade education. Our curriculum is taught by the most highly trained and innovative teachers in the state, many of whom have received national and local honors for their outstanding abilities. PVSchools serves approximately 32,000 preschool, elementary, middle and high school students in 45 schools in northeast Phoenix and Scottsdale. The district covers 98 square miles and serves the communities of Northeast Phoenix and North Scottsdale. The district boundaries are from 7th Avenue to Pima Road, and Northern Avenue to Jomax Road. The district has been recognized nationally for its outstanding educational programs and for its low cost in administering those programs. PVSchools celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2013. The mission of the Paradise Valley Unified School District is to cultivate world-class thinkers. We aim to work collaboratively to engage students in individualized, rigorous, and authentic learning opportunities so that they may reach their highest potentials.
