After visiting a number of venues that felt too “cookie-cutter,” Erin’s sister and
maid of honor suggested that she visit an old library in the heart of downtown
Houston. “When I stepped inside the Julia Ideson Library, it felt cozy, elegant
and warm,” Erin recalls. “There’s so much character and history—I fell in love.”

Erin and Matt had their first dance to “I Love You” by Benjy Davis Project. “On our first
date, we discovered a love we share for the band, which is a bit unusual because they’re not
a band you hear of often,” Erin says. “We’ve been listening to them together ever since!”

Erin held a textured, feminine bouquet that included blush garden roses, dusty miller, hypericum berries
and ranunculus. At the end of the night, everyone lined the walkway with sparklers and the couple sped
away in a vintage white car. “It was so exciting but also sad—the night was over!” Erin says.
