Founded by George and Ellen Booth in 1904, Cranbrook’s 319
acre campus features the work of world renowned architects and
sculptors; world class educational institutions; a great science
museum; all in an enchanted setting unlike anything else in the
country. Cranbrook and its buildings and grounds were all part of
Bloomfield Township until 1927, when the area became part of the
village of Bloomfield Hills. Bloomfield Township cardholders can
check out free passes to Cranbrook at the Library.
