Zangle Teacher Connection The Zangle Gradebook is where you enter your class assignments and grades. It can be accessed directly on the web at the following address: https://zangle.wyandotte.org/zangleconnect 1. Click on the Zangle Icon to log in. 2. A separate window appears. Log into the Zangle Gradebook using your Zangle ID or your name and password. 3. To Change your password, click on the FILE menu and then select CHANGE PASSWORD. You will need to enter your current password and then the password that you would like it be. You then need to confirm this password. 4. Click on the TeacherConnection link in the window on the left hand side of the screen. 5. In the upper left hand corner you need to select which term you would like to see. Zangle Teacher Connection Then select the class from the dropdown menu. 6. After you choose a class then you can select one of the tabs below. 7. After selecting your class, click on the tab. Your class list will appear. On the left side of the screen there will be a box with attendance codes. Click on the code you want and then click on the next to the students name. The code will then be applied to that student. Repeat this step for each code needed. 8. Once you have placed the appropriate code next to each student you can click on the button. Then a box will appear and you can enter in the correct number of milks, hot lunches, or breakfasts. If this step doesn’t apply to you skip to #9. button. Once you click on the Post button you will see an 9. Finally click on the asterisk next to that class in your class list. This means that the attendance for that class has been taken and posted. Zangle Teacher Connection (NOTE: The Zangle program will time out after 10 minutes of in-activity. So be sure to post your attendance before walking away from your computer. If you do not click the post button before your session is timed out, you will have to re-enter your attendance.) 10. The seating chart tab allows you to set up a seating chart that looks like your room. Select your class at the top and then click on the radial circles across the top the screen. tab. Allows you to enter specific notes about each class. The middle school and high school are currently using ParentConnect and this is the area that teachers can leave notes to the parents about things that affect the entire class. a) Select your class at the top of the screen. b) Fill in the dates and type your message. c) Click the submit button to send your message into the Zangle system. 12. Is where administrators can enter in staff news items. There is also another option for District News. For the current school year, only staff will be able to see these notes. Next year students and parents will be able to log onto a website and see these notes.
