good at this time and I couldn’t

took over the scoring and Della
Gaits help out doing everything
else. Everyone’s side dishes were
wonderful at the Pot Luck—we
have a lot of very good cooks out
there. A big thanks to the steel
gang—Asphalt Cowboy, Dusty
Pathfinder, Lago Jim, and anyone
else that helped we really appreciated all your help.
This past two months have
been very tragic for a couple of our
members. Ben Cooper lost his
wife Pamela in September and
Pinyon Jones lost Fan Chula after a
very brief illness on October 9th.
Our thought and prayers go out to
both families.

It is one
month to the election as I, Sin Killer,
write this, and I am
still as riled up as last month, and I am right agitated with
these leftist sons-of-guns, no, make that sons-of-saferubber-tipped-arrows, no, make that sons-of-nothing-evenremotely-resembling-a-weapon, but yet sons-of-UncleSam-who-spit-on-Uncle-Sam! You know, the ones who
say, “Dissent is patriotism.” I want to talk about the American family; not so much your family or my family, but all
of us together in the American family. Jesus said something surprising in Matthew 10:34-37, “Think not that I am
come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but
a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his
father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes
shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or
mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that
loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.”

In your family if some relative starts talking trash against the
family, you will not be happy, you might even become enraged, and rightly so. You love your family name, you and
your loved ones take pride in your family honor, values, and
accomplishments; you take pride in your family heritage.
But if that doofus nephew starts spewing garbage about your
family, you either take him out back of the barn and beat the
living stuffing out of him, or you say, “Hit the road, you
Judas traitor, you are no longer a member of this family.” If
old Uncle Walter likes to be out with the family but refuses
to leave his chaw at home, and spits on the floor at Sundaygo-to-meetin’, and afterwards on the floor of the Harvey
House in the middle of Sunday fried chicken, and screams at
the waitress that he has “every right to spit where he wants
to”, you have to confine Uncle Walter forevermore to the
basement of your spring-house where he can spit on the
floor to his heart’s content. If your no-good brother-in-law
can’t keep his hands off the teeny-bopper working at the
Dairy Queen, female or male teeny-bopper, it makes no difference, you must turn him into the authorities – after you
take him out behind the barn and beat the living stuffing out
of him – in order to protect your sister. You do all this because you love your family and wish to protect them and
preserve the family name with honor. You do all this because you answer to a higher authority, who sets a standard
of righteousness and good behavior for us all – and, personally, I don’t think Jesus was above giving some miscreant a
good thumping (there was that little Temple cleansing incident). It is exactly the same with our American family.
Those who talk trash about the United States of America,
who spit on our shores, or who persist in perverted behavior
(as defined by the Word of God), need to be taken behind
the barn and taught a lesson in civility, put in the basement,
or turned in to the authorities. And we do these things because we have a higher allegiance to God than to anyone or
anything else. That is what makes the United States of
America the shining city on a hill. If you want to trash-talk
and spit on my country, my American family, be prepared to
encounter Sin Killer’s fist on your nose. If you prefer a
sword, I’ve got one of those, too, for I want nothing to do
with you. Our foes may be in our own household. Now, go
careful.
